Hotels with Breakfast in Gunzburg

We had three nights at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was really nice with a large variety of breads, cold-cuts, eggs, sausage etc. The beds really comfy. Nice large bathroom. But. Our room faced a large park where the locals liked to hang out - and with the weather being really nice that resulted in some smaller parties/groups of people having out. And they were not exactly quiet, unfortunately. Since there is no air-con in the rooms it must become pretty unbearable in the summer when the windows have to stay shut because of the noice from the park... Ask for a room facing away from the park......

Nice quiet room and bathroom, very nice staff, but totally overloaded. On the first night we had dinner in the garden restaurant and 1/2 waited for our drinks for a while. The mobile service person had a problem and do took the order forever! The next morning there was no expresso because the machine was defect. For friends who had to check in at night, there was no room anymore despite written confirmation. Our impression: too little trained and experienced staff, but helps that were absolutely over-reached.....

The location of the hotel and Legoland is remote, the cabins are smaller, the toilets are smaller, and the underwater is very slow. There are few places to eat around. Eating in the hotel is more expensive, and you need to wait in line for 30-40 minutes for dinner. Generally speaking, the price/performance ratio is not high. Because it is close to Munich, it can actually go back and forth on the same day. The park is not bad. Even on weekends, it is crowded with people. Every project has been queued for a long time. It is much worse than the new Lego in Malaysia.

The room was good, nicely outfitted although the shower was very small hard to even wash your hair since it is one of those complete modular showers, that was a little disappointing. It is check in through an automated system, fine if everything is okay, a little confusing if things don’t work, then you have to call, there is no manned reception. Breakfast was great, can be busy though. Parking is a little far if you have to carry luggage, but you can drive up, (un) load and then park. Not recommended if you are not fully able, stairs and no elevator. This is close to Legoland so very popular with families with small kids. Gunzburg is a nice city, take a stroll to check the sights. I found it pretty pricey for the amenities, no fitness, no pool, no manned reception, but on the higher end of hotel prices.

We stayed here for one night in July 2022 and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is only a five minute drive to Legoland, and about a 10 minute walk from downtown Gunzburg (which is worth a visit). The communication (in English) from hotel staff was excellent. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds, a mini fridge and A/C. The breakfast was good. Please note that there is no lift in this hotel. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes' drive from Legoland in a very quiet area near the city centre, with a very pleasant footprint of the hotel, with many children's games, a whole room dedicated to them and small attentions. There is a possibility of eating either inside or in a green space nearby to games for young people, even so that you can enjoy the children in the eyes of parents and in a safe environment. Absolutely awarded for kindness and availability to us. We should return to Legoland this would certainly be our reference for the stay. Thank you again!
