Disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Room was clean and comfortable - really spacious bathroom. Fitness center was large with lots of equipment. But service was mediocre. Check-in was slow and everyone just seemed alarmed to have to deal with a westerner (even though I am Chinese-speaking!) Smoking in the public areas and the lobby is huge and dated, few seats. It just doesn’t have the luxurious and welcoming feel of a good hotel! Just spent 3 weeks staying in guesthouse across Yunnan and we got much better welcome and service for a third of the price! Oh and the location is not great for tourists. The only redeeming feature is a huge slick mall a few blocks away.

Our 5-day, 4-night trip to Guiyang, the first two nights were in the city, and the last two nights were Anantara micro-vacation. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that it was the usual architectural style of Anantara, very calm and classy, ​​but the price-performance ratio was the highest! Environment: We were in December and there was actually nothing fun, but we came to rest so we were very satisfied, and we also took travel photos. The hotel's follow-up photos were also very good, and finally selected more than a dozen photos Facilities: The hotel has various activities every day. We went to participate in foil painting and bonfire parties, which were all very good. The most satisfying thing is the hotel's spa. I had a full spa treatment and it was very comfortable. I fell into a deep sleep. We had one night stay in Kempinski. The hotel lobby was stunning with very nice designs. Our room was spacious and clean, the city views at night from the windows were just magnificent. The business lounge was on level 53 (top floor), which offered guests free afternoon tea, light dinner, and night drinks. Every staff member we met was very polite and friendly. Finally, I wish to say special thanks to the reception staff Kevin, who serviced us very patiently and professionally. We will be back surely and see you again!

Everything was great. The only issue was the room was hot. AC wasn't doing its job. Called front desk. They sent a tech to adjust AC and brought a portable fan. Was able to cool the room down to acceptable level but not as low as we liked. Great breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants. Very friendly staff.

At the Hilton Hotel, I enjoyed meticulous care. The butler Frank arranged the room for me and responded to my needs in time at night. The service was very thoughtful and I would choose to experience here again.

The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows, complete room facilities, comfortable bedding, and internet cable, which is convenient for office work. The breakfast variety is very rich, including Chinese breakfast and Western meals, and the ingredients are very fresh. More importantly, there is a butler service. If there are any problems with the room, you can contact Xiaoyou at any time. He can solve many problems encountered in the hotel. This hotel is very good for business travel and will be the first choice next time you come to Guiyang.

The hotel is in city center. There are lots of restaurants and shops close by. We booked a family room and enjoyed the two bedroom two bathroom. Love it.

We upgraded our room to the executive floor. Yoro helped us experience the afternoon tea on the executive floor and introduced nearby places to eat and play. The service was very good and very consistent with the brand image of Renaissance. It was a perfect ending to our one-week trip to Guizhou. I will choose Renaissance again when I come to Guiyang next time.
