Hotels near Yaozhai, Guilin

A hotel with a rafting spot, the room is OK, there are no other options nearby, the room is quiet and clean, there is nothing to say, but the fish in their restaurant is very delicious, this is highly recommended!

The hotel opened this year, located by the Rong Lake, on a quiet road. I heard from the staff that the area opposite is where the leaders are received for dinner. The hotel staff have a very good service attitude. They came to help us take our luggage when we arrived at the hotel entrance and helped to deliver it to the room. I added the front desk WeChat and sent us some tips. There are soft drinks at the front desk for self-service, and many daily necessities are also provided, such as nail clippers, Band-Aids, makeup remover towels, alcohol wipes, hairpins, etc., which can be used by yourself. There are restaurants, tea rooms, gyms, children's playgrounds, and travel photography shops on the first floor of the hotel. Although they are relatively small, they are considered to be fully equipped. The secret twin room we booked is on the third floor, next to the road, and it is quite quiet at night. The room is relatively spacious, the TV is particularly large, and the bathroom is also very clean. Robots will deliver any supplies you need. The only drawback is that both pillows are too high. Take the elevator to the fifth floor and climb another floor. There is a terrace on the sixth floor with a small swimming pool and open-air seats. The scenery is average. The breakfast room on the first floor is better than we expected. There are rice noodles, sweet potatoes, taro, potatoes, corn and other coarse grains, as well as several kinds of vegetables, porridge, noodles, eggs, and fruits such as oranges, red dragon fruits and cherry tomatoes. There are also several varieties of beverages. The cake is not very delicious. The hotel is close to Rong Lake. You can take pictures of the night view of Rong Lake Scenic Area before 22:45 at night. There are various bridges that can be taken and it is very beautiful. The hotel is more than one kilometer away from the East and West Lanes, Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street, Sun and Moon Twin Towers, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. We only stayed in Guilin for one night, and my friends and I were very satisfied with Wangyue Hotel. The details in all aspects are still quite good, and I hope it will be maintained.

For only 100 RMB, I got a private room complete with toiletries and en suite bathroom. Everything is clean. The location is a walkable distance to Guilin Railway Station. I arrived at Guilin West and took the No. 22 bus and stopped at Nan Men Qian Nan. I walked 300 meters moving forward. Before the first crossing, turn right. Walk some more 200 meters or so and the hostel is located to the right next to food shops. You might get confused though if you booked this in English. The name that appears on Trip.com is Guilin Guanghu Inn while in Agoda it is Travel Light Guilin. The hostel's building has the Guanghu Inn in Chinese characters and then Travel Light written in English. So yes, it's one and the same. The hostel is only a few minutes away to the two rivers and four lakes. It only costed me 9 RMB via Didi (like a Grab or Uber app). The reception serves good coffee too! Basic breakfast of two eggs, three slices of bacon, two pieces of toast, and a cup of coffee is pegged at 28 RMB. The best part? Jerry and Jennifer! They are so delightful to speak with because they always are open to help out with that signature courteous and friendly manner. It was my first time in Guilin. I have a feeling I will visit again because of Guilin Guanghu Inn/Travel Light Hostel.

It was my first time to come to Guilin and I saw this hotel on Ctrip. It felt good when I came here. The hotel lobby is very grand, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the stay is very comfortable. And the location is also good, close to the free Elephant Trunk Mountain Scenic Area, more than 10 minutes' walk, there are many places to eat along the way, and there are also Guilin specialty stores. Nice stay experience.

Location: 5-8 minute walk to Sun and Moon pagodas, 10-15 minute walk to Elephant hill. Despite being next to the main road, its very quiet. There is a supermarket less than 1 min walk and a bigger one 5 mins walk away. Really good location, although its not central to everything, its only a 10min walk to everything. Room: Big, clean and well organised. The room has a view of the mountains, you just have to ignore the buildings in-between. The mini-bar is free for guests but only has a small coke and sprite and some chips. But having a fridge is nice Bathroom Shower is good, and a smart bidet toilet is nice. But this is where my main issue comes from. The bathroom 'zone' has the toilet in one cubicle, the shower in another cubicle and the sink outside them both. This seems fine and you cannot see anyone while doing anything due to the frosted glass. However, there is no dividing wall or barrier between the bedroom 'zone' and the bathroom 'zone'. Meaning if you get up to use the bathroom then the light from the bathroom will flood the bedroom. You may also be senstive to noise isolation being a factor too. The sink has a mirror with a light, this is an issue. Even with the light on the mirror off, the switch to turn on the mirror light is always lit and at night time it looks bright and you do not get a perfect dark room. Speaking of dark room, the curtains are controlled by a switch and are either fully open or fully closed, nothing in-between. Breakfast: Bread, noodles, rice, eggs, cereal, coffee, tea, sausages, dumplings, and more and a noodle-making station all available. The restaurant looks out over the infinity pool so it is very pretty. Common areas: The lobby is not large, but the rooms are very large so its a good trade-off. Theres a spa and travel agent (but we never used them) and everything is very clean and smells good. Everything is white with light-wood and looks modern, simple, clean and warm. Service: You can communicate in English via WeChat and any issues or questions are dealt with quickly. Everyone seemed friendly and warm. Good service Extras: There is a laundry room/ laundry service for free. A meeting room and Swimming pool but we didn't use it. Overall: This hotel has an excellent rating on Trip.com and it does earn it. Would stay again especially as the price is cheap and the location is decent but the quality of the furnishings and design of the hotel really are top-class. Would stay here again for sure.

Has been one of the best hotels in China for me so far. Very clean and modern rooms, friendly stuff that helped me with figuring out how to get to Longji. Amazing manager that did help me with annoying texi driver and also helped carry some things, overall nothing but a great experience. Also, if you book hotel without breakfast(like i did) go there 1 time anyways, view from the restaurant is beautiful and having morning coffee while looking at the mountains definitely made my day better 😄

Clean and elegant hotel with spatious room and with traditional beautiful furniture, located next to the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Most rooms seem to have a lovely indoor balcony with an enchanting mini tea set, perfect for a break from the busy streets of the city. Bathrooms are western style and they provide everything you need, except maybe a towel for exiting the shower door. Staff is polite and attentive to he guest’s requests. They also suggested a very good restaurant just around the corner. 10/10

I felt very comfortable when I entered the hotel. I checked in at the front desk and the enthusiastic service manager Qiuqiu upgraded me to a river view room. The room was clean and hygienic, the pillows were comfortable, and they were rare latex pillows. I finally had a good sleep. The pillows in the previous hotels were too high, and I couldn't sleep well all night. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room face Xiaoyao Tower, and the view is so beautiful! Thank you Qiuqiu! There are areas that can be improved. The carpet smells of dust, and it is not a fully intelligent toilet.

I really liked this hotel! The bed was comfortable, the room is clean, and the interior is cozy, at night it was no noisy. The staff is polite and the guy at the reception helped us at night to know what we were asked. Location of the hotel near the center, it is convenient to get by taxi. One minus is that there was not enough free space near the washbasin. Also in the hotel give a coupon for free coffee, but coffee can be obtained only after 9 am. Here is a small terrace and even a trailer! Upstairs there is a place where you can spend waged clothes. We are really satisfied!
