We stayed here for 4 nights with as a family of 5 (two rooms, one of which is a room with an extra bed).
I’ve written a much longer review for our other booking, but in gist, highly recommend! The services was impeccable and the view of the pagoda was lovely from the room. It was also really modern and the number of freebies from woodblock printing to foot massage and more really sweetened the deal. You could tell they also really cared about service - the guest relation manager even asked us during our buffet breakfast if we had any feedback for them! It especially helped that the buffet breakfast was really good, as well as the hotel restaurant

Overall, the stay experience was far beyond expectations!
I came to Guilin during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. I chose to stay in the city on the first day and go to Yangshuo on the second day. I chose the Waterfall Hotel on Ctrip. I thought it would be an ordinary hotel, but I didn't expect it to give me a brand new experience of Guilin.
Location: Excellent location. You can overlook the Li River, Elephant Trunk Hill, and Twin Pagoda Park from the rooftop. The uploaded pictures are all unfiltered views of the surrounding scenery of the hotel. Going out is the pedestrian street, and you can walk directly to the East and West Lanes. There are many young bands singing in the opposite Jiangbin Park at night, which is very pleasant.
Hardware: It is said that it is part of the Waterfall Hotel next to it. It was renovated and became independent. The room decoration is very suitable for people's aesthetics nowadays. It is simple and advanced, and the facilities are also very high-quality. Dyson hair dryers, JBL lyrics speakers, brand fragrance supplies (friends like this smell very much), and slippers are also rare online.
Service: Finally, the service is a big surprise:
The front desk check-in speed is fast, the attitude is good, and the staff of different shifts are very friendly.
The stargazing bar has a great view, and the service is great. The intern Xiao Li and the female manager on duty are very kind and willing to share local ways of playing, etc.
The smiling ”Happy Dragon Boat Festival” in the guest room with fruit instantly heals people, and the message from the room attendant who I didn't see is impressive.
The manager and male waiter in the breakfast room are very enthusiastic. Because I didn't have time to eat breakfast, I packed a simple meal, and they kept asking if it was enough to eat, etc.
All of the above are impressive, and I will definitely recommend friends to stay here, and I hope to come again next time.

The room was super spacious with fabulous views and everything was very clean, with daily room cleaning. The breakfast was extensive and decent quality. Only slight letdown would be the gym/fitness centre which was a box room with two treadmills with AC that didn’t really work. But the infinity plunge pool outside helped to cool down after a workout.
The main highlights were:
1. The location - super convenient for the main sights but still quiet at nighttime.
2. The staff - so friendly and helpful, helped us book a Li River tour for a good price and were just generally very welcoming and supportive throughout the stay

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. As a solo traveler, I do feel that it’s good for one night to experience that design and pampering space. There are bus tour groups which go there and seem to work well with the KTV, Buffet meals, and lounging areas.
From my trip, I stayed for two days after the Chinese Qixing Festival. It was really nice to arrive and have access to the teatime snacks and desserts as well as the wonderful architecture and furniture design. The outdoor pool is nice, however the indoor pool charges 50 yuan because they offer drinks and snacks. The only drinks and snacks they offered were juice boxes and some fruit. One employee told me that there were cocktails available. The exercise room and yoga room were set up very nice. The shower rooms very clean. I would not pay for the indoor swimming pool in my opinion based on the drink/snacks.
The bar that is advertised from some user photos does not exist. Some employees said it was open, others said not. Management can communicate that better, as a lush hotel should have a solid lounge. The tea lounge does not have any alcohol drinks available, but rather decoration of wine bottles. The design is gorgeous though. One employee told me that they ran out of alcohol due to holiday, and another employee told me that there was a bar open which really was not. I simply went to get my own spirits when I wanted a cocktail (made in my room).
Other than that, everything in the hotel was fine. My room was really lovely with the exception of the fact that you cannot go out on the balconies and there is a smoke smell from the carpet. The hotel gladly gave me a an air purifier to help alleviate the smell. My opinion is that the power should be sat on before a guest checks into their room. I had to change the filter over the two days. It did not appear that the KTV was open (maybe epidemic), I decided to go hang out in town, but enjoyed the Victorian flair when relaxing.
Overall, the comfort, bathing, and relaxation was great. The breakfast is really delicious, and the service of the employees all around was impeccable despite the fact that they could not offer all of the amenities. It seems an OK place for families/photos as well since the property is unique. The 50 yuan for tea time was probably the most valuable, and the room service staff are detailed. The butler/reception very professional, Ayi staff amazing. Transportation quite easy.

Very good. Location is superb. Central to everything. Despite a bit old but well maintained. They have a very good indoor big swimming pool and a gym. Hotel is huge and they have 3 elevators which is working well. I am grateful that to choose this hotel than other new hotels. We dint use their wifi so no comment about it. Thank you Lijiang Waterfall Hotel.

View: The hotel is right next to the famous Li River which has been extolled by poets across the centuries. In the morning you can see the sun rising from Guiling’s unique mountains.
Cleanliness: spotlessly clean.
Service: The staff is polite. There was some hold up at check in but nothing worth nitpicking on.
Facilities: As a local I highly recommend the Chinese noodle at breakfast table. Other food is typical international fusion with a Chinese blend. The pool and the gym is a bit small, nice if you have to keep yourself at shape during travel but leaves room for more. The executive lounge is a bit rundown and old-fashioned compared to the rest of the hotel. The cafe at lobby level has an elegant minimalistic atmosphere.

A taste of traditional China blended with luxurious Western comforts.
Stayed four nights in this charming boutique hotel that is nestled into a cove beside Ronghu Lake. Although it’s just steps away from the hustle of tourism that features around the lake, it offers an aura of peace and tranquility, amid luxurious furnishings and a taste of old China. Our suite featured a spacious balcony that opened up to an isolated lagoon connected to the Rongu Lake by a shallow channel, too small for any boat traffic larger than a sampan.
Our suite was exquisitely appointed with traditional Chinese furniture that included a working desk, four easy chairs, and a large working desk. Hotel customer service attitude tends to be excellent in China, and in this hotel it was exceptional, always courteous and never obsequious. Breakfast was included and offered a wide range of both Chinese and western dishes, that included vegetarian options. The White House hotel offers a perfect retreat from the Guilin tourist scene: very highly recommended!!!
Coincidentally it is our anniversary my wife and I used the photography service to keep a sweet memory staying in the hotel. It adds a nice touch to this trip.

The hotel is located in a park. It is a hotel that uses osmanthus as an element for promotion. The cultural atmosphere of the experience hall is quite strong. Now there is only a very light-scented osmanthus tree in the park. There are many old osmanthus trees behind the hotel. I should come back when the osmanthus flowers bloom. The room is clean and hygienic. The south wind in Guilin is also dry and refreshing in the room. The facilities are relatively complete. The gym and spa are on the first floor. If the hotel breakfast can be richer, it will be more perfect. I tasted Guilin rice noodles. The rice noodles in the hotel are not inferior to those outside. The service of the front desk customer service is also very good.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Shan Lake and the Elephant trunk Hill, shopping and eateries.
The hotel has a tour agency representative to arrange for the Lijiang Cruise and the fame Cave with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, with return to hotel. Breakfast is acceptable, commensurate with the price
