Guilin Xiufeng District 5-star Hotels

Location: The location is extremely convenient, right by the Li River and very close to Xiaoyao Tower. A short walk along the river takes you straight to Elephant Trunk Hill Park. The hotel is also conveniently located near Jingjiang Princes' City and Dongxi Alley (East and West Alley). Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Service: Excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. In the evening, they even provided foot bath tubs for a relaxing soak, which was a truly wonderful touch. It was the most comfortable hotel of our entire trip. They also provide laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer. Lobby welcome fruit/snacks: The complimentary welcome fruit and snacks in the lobby were fresh and delicious. At just over 600 RMB, the price was excellent value for money. If I ever return to Guilin, I would definitely choose to stay here again!

This long-standing five-star hotel remains largely unchanged in its overall quality. However, in today's fiercely competitive hotel market, many details fell short. There were no bellhops available to assist with luggage during check-in or check-out. The concierge desk seemed understaffed, with only one senior attendant. Despite outdoor temperatures hovering near 40 degrees Celsius, the in-room mini-bar was surprisingly empty, containing absolutely nothing. At night, the air conditioning, even on its lowest setting, rumbled louder than a tractor. The only silver lining was that breakfast was quite good. The rest was fairly standard.

Breakfast is buffet + single order, full of sincerity! Guilin must-eat horse meat rice noodles, boat cakes, and oil tea are very good🍜! Even the fried eggs 🍳 are exquisitely presented for you, with a sense of ceremony~ Going downstairs is the central square, seamlessly connected to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street! It is so convenient to go shopping, eat and drink! 👣 After my first stay, I decided to reserve two nights! When my relatives and friends come to Guilin in the future, this will be my ”designated reception hotel”! 👍

A taste of traditional China blended with luxurious Western comforts. Stayed four nights in this charming boutique hotel that is nestled into a cove beside Ronghu Lake. Although it’s just steps away from the hustle of tourism that features around the lake, it offers an aura of peace and tranquility, amid luxurious furnishings and a taste of old China. Our suite featured a spacious balcony that opened up to an isolated lagoon connected to the Rongu Lake by a shallow channel, too small for any boat traffic larger than a sampan.  Our suite was exquisitely appointed with traditional Chinese furniture that included a working desk, four easy chairs, and a large working desk. Hotel customer service attitude tends to be excellent in China, and in this hotel it was exceptional, always courteous and never obsequious. Breakfast was included and offered a wide range of both Chinese and western dishes, that included vegetarian options. The White House hotel offers a perfect retreat from the Guilin tourist scene: very highly recommended!!!  Coincidentally it is our anniversary my wife and I used the photography service to keep a sweet memory staying in the hotel. It adds a nice touch to this trip.

Great hotel in a great location , the hotel interior it’s astonishing, the staff is friendly and the check in is quite fast. However the food is quite average.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Guilin! The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting me with warm smiles and going out of their way to ensure my comfort. The hotel’s central location was perfect, just steps away from Guilin’s main attractions, making it so easy to explore the stunning landscapes and vibrant city life. My room was a cozy haven—clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, it felt like a home away from home. The highlight, though, was the breakfast with the best view in town! Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Guilin!

The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thanks to the reception team, particularly Susu (苏苏) and Xiao Mo (小末), who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. Housekeeping was impeccable, with timely and thorough service. The hotel’s waterfall show was absolutely breathtaking and a definite highlight of our visit. Another fun touch was the occasional food delivery by a robot, which added a unique and modern twist to the experience. Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!

During the May Day holiday, I took a family of seven out for a trip. After a long consideration, I finally decided to stay at this hotel. It was a very good experience! The location is very good, with convenient transportation in the city and avoiding the downtown area of ​​the scenic area. It is very comfortable~ The room type is also very good. We can clearly feel the store's care for the loft we booked. They specially put sponge strips on the second floor to prevent people from hitting their heads. The details are very satisfactory. The breakfast is also very rich, with oil tea and rice noodles, and the taste is very authentic. Finally, I must praise the hotel's service. Small desserts will be prepared every night, and there will be souvenirs on the last day. The service staff who contacted us during the period were very considerate and would help recommend nearby attractions! In short, it was a great value for money experience. I will choose to stay here next time I go to Guilin.

For our first stop in Guilin, we stayed at this city-center hotel. Though it's been open for several years, the facilities are very well-maintained. Our room was spacious, and we even received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in. The location is superb, with everything easily accessible, and shared bikes are available right outside. The breakfast was plentiful, and the Guilin rice noodles were especially delicious. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Location and the room was excellent.  Cleaning staff were very welcoming and friendly as I met them in corridors on way to the room.  The reception staff are efficient enough but leave time to check out as they make you wait 5-10 mins so the room can be checked before you leave.  When I left, there was no queue and it wasn’t busy so add on extra time for this in case you’ve ordered a taxi.  I would stay here as it’s very clean and convenient for the Elephant Trunk Hill and lakes (about an 8 min walk if that). Only let down was a faint smoke smell at night, coming from somewhere, maybe the corridor or air con?) but the room was not at fault and probably guests smoking where they are not supposed to!
