Guilin Lingui District 5-star Hotels

clean ✅ breakfast ✅ amenities✅ Overall the hotel was good. It was very clean which was something that's important in a hotel stay. The breakfast buffet was good too with local food and some western choices. Unfortunately their restaurant was closed and they only offer snacks at their coffee bar. The pool and gym was still closed, hope they can re.open sooner. I asked for extra coffee cream and water and they gave it without any charge. I got the room upgrade and late check out from Trip.com membership. It was interesting because we were having a late night flight and we were hoping to stay a bit. During the first day I was told to check out at 2pm but the following day I was told the latest is 4pm. I didn't have a good time when we checked in. We didn't fell the warmth that we normally enjoyed in previous accomodations. We were also left to carry our bags to our room. The staff the following day were more accomodating. We were allowed to order takeaway food but I have to pick it up from downstairs.

Great stay here, very central and the room was clean and comfortable. We appreciate Jolin and Ella at the front desk they were very helpful.

Location and the room was excellent.  Cleaning staff were very welcoming and friendly as I met them in corridors on way to the room.  The reception staff are efficient enough but leave time to check out as they make you wait 5-10 mins so the room can be checked before you leave.  When I left, there was no queue and it wasn’t busy so add on extra time for this in case you’ve ordered a taxi.  I would stay here as it’s very clean and convenient for the Elephant Trunk Hill and lakes (about an 8 min walk if that). Only let down was a faint smoke smell at night, coming from somewhere, maybe the corridor or air con?) but the room was not at fault and probably guests smoking where they are not supposed to!

The hotel is in a great location, next to the Cultural Palace, with a lot of snacks and very convenient. The front desk service is warm and considerate, the computer network is fast and there is no delay, the room is great and the theme is cool, and there is free fruit tea and ice at the front desk. I will come again next time!

The location of the hotel is very good. It is basically a ten-minute walk from Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun Moon Tower, and East-West Lane. Downstairs is Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, and there are many restaurants nearby. The service is also very good, and the sanitation and facilities are good. Maybe because there is a commercial street downstairs, the sound insulation is relatively poor. But overall it’s pretty good, recommended

Clean and comfortable 😊 Located in the city center square, pedestrian street, shopping and dining nearby, Guilin landmark Elephant Trunk Hill is not far away, you can walk past the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas to reach it, Jingjiang Palace and Duxiu Peak are also nearby, the first choice for tourists, highly recommended

Great value for money! Newly renovated hotel tucked away in the middle of a famous food street. Superb location with major attractions (Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes) and two major food streets right at your doorstep. Great place to stay if you only have a very limited time in Guilin (before heading to Longsheng, Yangshuo or elsewhere) as you can practically cover all the major attractions and food places quickly. The beds are very comfortable. Great for a family or small group of friends as you can comfortably stay together in the same suite (not many hotels offer this configuration). Highly recommend!

It was nice to be upgraded to theme love room however the check in process took us 40 minutes to begin with. Upon entering the room was really hot and stuffy and after checking with its technician they said it’s centralised air conditioning and only at a later part in the evening will the temperature be turned down. Advised us to leave the hotel room for 3 hours and come back in the evening. We didn’t as we needed to rest a while and was sweating and stuffy with a tiny window to just open to allow for cooler air to come in. Returning in late evening just to bask into the room temperature of heater of 20c! It was truly truly hot! Why even turn on heater centralised conditioning??? There is no air conditioning to cool down the room such a horrible and worst hotel of our entire stay. Truly disappointed for the first night and even wanted to check out the second night but we are leaving Guilin so it was not worth the hassle. Location was on the spot however the room air conditioning is the most horrible in our entire stay and only heater was turned on. Burning sleep in the night and even burning during the day. Both was equally hot and sweaty night. Disappointed truly. Can’t even have a proper rest at this 4 star hotel. The outlook is not new it’s just inside was new probably. It’s bad not to have air conditioning and even worst when it’s central air conditioning turned to be heater mode day and night. It’s not really cold at Guilin either it’s hot there was sun. It was unpleasant stay sadly although the nice room was given on our honeymoon rest stop here.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the beautiful Liujiang Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area, which made it easy to explore and enjoy the local sights. The hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options. The staff were kind and professional throughout my stay. I would like to extend special thanks to the manager, Mr. Luo Yang, for his outstanding support and assistance, he truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was comfortable and smooth. Overall, my experience was positive, and I would definitely choose to stay here again. One small suggestion: if you’re looking for a good view of the river, I recommend to book a room on the higher floors, 5th or 6th floor.

The room was clean en specious. But the view whoch wason the picture was not there. There is free selfservice laundry which was very convenient. The front desk was very helpfull. Xiao yang did her best to help. The wechat contact was also very nice. Ontlly when booking trips via frontdesk the wise card could not be accepted.
