Hotels in Guilin South Railway Station/Too Square/Qintan Bus Station, Guilin

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The customer service is amazing, almost all staff we have encountered with are friendly and helpful, especially the young lady who checked us in and also helped us with our luggage. The hotel is tastefully decorated with quality materials. The breakfast was very delicious with many selections. Areas needed to improve are 1)The hot water pressure is very weak for the bathtub in our room. 2) The plastic cover for the bathtub was nice thought but not practical.

The hotel is located very close to the Lijiang River, which made the stay even more special. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that we truly enjoyed every morning. Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with the latest technology—everything felt modern and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even assisted us in ordering food to the hotel, something we wouldn’t have managed on our own. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We recently stayed at the Cozy Home Rooftop Scenic Hotel for Easter and booked three rooms for our family of eight: two Featured Couples' Rooms (Double Bed) and one Romantic Room - Double Occupancy, City-View (Roundbed) with a bathtub. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We were particularly impressed when they went out of their way to personally show us where to wait for our ride, which was a thoughtful gesture. The hotel's location is also fantastic, providing easy access to the surrounding scenic areas. Breakfast was adequate in terms of variety, offering a decent selection, though nothing particularly fancy. We did note that only two free breakfasts were included per room. For our family, we had to pay for two extra breakfasts, which cost us around CNY 98. While the breakfast on the 9th floor offered a lovely view, this sum could have easily covered a more substantial local breakfast with coffee outside the hotel for about half the price. One minor issue we encountered was with the Romantic Room - Double Occupancy. The air conditioning in this room was noticeably weaker compared to the two Featured Couples' Rooms. Additionally, the round bed in that room was not to our personal preference for sleeping comfort. We were also intrigued by the open rooftop table with views of the mountain at sunset, as shown in the hotel's information. Unfortunately, we were unable to access the top floor during our stay, so we couldn't experience this. It seems this area might not be open to guests frequently. Despite the minor AC issue in one room and the unfulfilled rooftop view, we had a positive stay overall due to the excellent service and great location. Personally, if we were to book again, we would likely opt for the standard double rooms to ensure consistent air conditioning and a traditional bed, but we would still consider this hotel for its other merits.

Spacious, clean and excellent service by the staff. The room facilities were modern, comes with a bidet and a Baidu tech device to control room lighting and more by voice commands. Breakfast had a decent spread and an afternoon tea was also provided. It was a very comfortable stay. Location was optimal as it was near all the sights we wanted to go to. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and spacious new rooms. Hotel was also centrally located and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was sumptious and of a wide variety, and was served on top floor with a wonderful view of lake! On top of that, service was great and they offered hot desserts in our room due to the cold weather. Cannot ask for a better hotel to stay in.

Hotel is very clean and new. Service is excellent. When I informed that we have a tour bus to catch very early in the morning, and we will miss the breakfast. They offered us to pack some good to go.

Overall a very nice hotel but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. In my opinion it's more of a 3-4 star boutique hotel. The room was very large and nice, with 3 panoramic windows to the courtyard in front of the entrance. No unpleasant smells, one window with mosquito net. The TV didn't work, meaning it didn't have regular channels connected. The bathroom very large but unfortunately without any heating. In my opinion too cold for a bath or shower. Leaving the door to the room open and raising the room thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius didn't change anything. Welcome fruits were very nice. Free afternoon tea modest, exactly as shown on the photo during booking. Amenities with too strong for my taste, masculine smell. Based on the number of seats in the dining room (only 24), I think it's a really small hotel, so the breakfast had a very limited choice and quantity, but it was tasty. At the check out each guest receives a pack of local tea. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is connected by bus 18 or 100 with Guilin North station but I don't recommend taking bus. First of all, tickets from Guangzhou or Shenzhen should work, but they didn't, and neither did Allipay. One ticket costs 2 yuan, and you can pay in cash. More importantly, there is no overground crossing between the nearest bus stop and the hotel. You have to use an underground passage [a lot of stairs, no lift], and with suitcases it's a big problem. In the other direction, from the hotel to the station, there's no such problem. Taxi cost around 0.25 euros per kilometer.

Our Elephant themed family room is superb with great amenities, plush toys, welcome fruit platter and delightful hot dessert sent to the room. Special thanks for Mr. Jimmy Zhao who handled our check-out with excellent warm hospitality. This is the best hotel we have stayed in China and highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfectly central and close to touristic attractions. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were big, comfortable and clean. Laundry facilities were available and you could use them free. They even helped with arranging guided tours and were very helpful and responsive all the time. All in all an amazing hotel and excellent staff.

The location of this hotel makes you think you will not be able to see the town of beautiful Guilin. Surprisingly, the roof is well decorated and amazing views of the town. The breakfast is filling and for us very peaceful as we were the only ones that took it upstairs to eat. The room is spacious and although there is not much of a view from the room, as it’s too low to see the mountains. The staff provides a complimentary coffee as well as 24 hour tea available. Near the hotel there is a local market which is very interesting to visit!
