Wow, this hotel location is perfect just beside the pedestrian street and within all attractions. The room is nice with a perfect view of the scenic view. The breakfast on the top floor got beautiful view of the mountain. The staff is excellent and helpful to book us a taxi to Guilin train station. The lobby is cosy and hot and cold drinks avaliable at no charges. The room service clean and friendly. The staff always welcome you with a smiles.

Absolutely amazing customer service! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and super willing to go above and beyond to be helpful. The hotel was delightfully clean and had amazing views from both the room and the rooftop bar. 

Wow. What an incredible place. This stay here was truly wonderful. I am especially grateful for the best service I’ve had at any hotel anywhere in the world. The staff were always so attentive and accommodating, and always offered solutions to any issue I had. A few examples of how the service impressed me: - we needed to check out later than planned due to the kids feeling ill, and they let us pay a nominal fee to extend the whole afternoon. - we received daily breakfast coupons but could use as many as we wanted on any of the days we stayed there / this helped a lot as we had five people and three breakfast coupons, so we pooled them together to eat as a whole family several days. - once we needed some bowls to eat takeout and after sending a message to the staff on WeChat they deliver the bowls to our door in just a few minutes. - the cleaning staff were super friendly and always worked with our schedule to clean the rooms. When we need extra towels or toiletries they were quick to respond. - the kids play area was even fun for my 10-12 year olds - the breakfast buffet was really tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian mifen (local rice noodles) that are made to order, and the “oil tea” - a local Guangxi specialty. - coffee in the room was a plus, and the tea pot and unlimited hot or cold drinking water. - the pool was warm and ideal for young kids - the shower and all bathroom facilities were 5 star - we loved the high tech experience of automated lights, AC, shades, etc. - a welcome gift and a parting gift - such generosity and attentiveness We enjoyed a terrific stay and are already missing this special hotel. Rong Hu is such a pretty part of Guilin. The quiet lakeside is a perfect location for any family who wants a nice place close to the city but on a very quiet street. Thank you for all the care! The room was spacious, and the ambiance had a quaint, old-world charm. We requested an early breakfast, and the owner warmly agreed. We were particularly touched that the hostess got up early to cook for us. As there wasn't enough shampoo for three people, the kind front desk staff always remembered to provide extra for us every day. When we forgot something after checking out, she also helped us resolve it perfectly. The location is absolutely prime. Stepping out, you're right on Dongxi Alley, adjacent to the Duxiu Peak Palace Scenic Area. There's also Jinshunchang and a dessert shop nearby, and a bus stop right outside. The convenience is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was perfect—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, with a nice mix of both Chinese and Western options. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. When I first arrived, the hotel kindly provided fresh fruits while I waited for my room to be cleaned—a thoughtful gesture. The only downside was that the view from our room window was of an old hospital, but the location itself was very convenient. Right across the hotel, there was a bike rental offering day rentals, which made getting around easy and enjoyable. Overall, a comfortable stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Holiday Inn is usually my go-to choice when traveling, but this particular one felt a bit dated compared to those in Beijing, Shanghai, or Hangzhou. The room was on the small side, and the sink was practically next to the bed, which was quite inconvenient. Getting ready early in the morning meant disturbing others. However, the service was excellent, and it felt very safe. Upon check-in, they gave us meal vouchers for the kids, and when checking out, we even received a souvenir gift. The buffet breakfast offered a savory porridge called 'Youcha', and the staff thoughtfully reminded us that adding salt would remove the bitterness, which made it taste quite good. The location was excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. The restaurant downstairs, 'Popojia', served delicious food, had a great ambiance, and was affordable.

This hotel in Guilin is a great place to stay. It’s conveniently located in the heart of tourist attractions, right along the road, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel is clean, quiet, and cozy, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff, particularly the friendly girl, went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. She was incredibly kind and had a wonderful attitude, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel offers a range of amenities that are essential for travelers. There’s a washing machine, dryer, and even an iron, so you can stay fresh and comfortable during your stay. Additionally, we were able to take advantage of the complimentary Two River and Four Lakes tour and a one-hour motorbike rental. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Guilin. We highly recommend it and would definitely choose it again if we return to the city.

The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable; I didn't want to get out of bed! It was exceptionally quiet at night, ensuring a wonderfully sound sleep. The bathroom had an excellent wet/dry separation, the toiletries were of good quality, and the hot water pressure was great. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to get around and great for shopping. In summary, this was absolutely a 5-star experience. I've already marked it as my top choice for my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone!
