Guilin Qixing District Hotels

We stayed at this hotel for just one night and we didn't regret our choice for a second. It was a wonderful decision! We chose a room with a bathtub by the window specifically for the stunning view of the forest and river it offered – absolutely breathtaking. We loved everything about the room: the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the heat, and the orthopedic mattress and pillows were so comfortable (a special thank you for that!). The room was spotless, and everything was in perfect working order. The front desk staff are wonderful people! Communication was tricky without knowing Chinese, but every single employee was incredibly friendly and tried so hard to help us, using translators with patience. A huge thank you for your help with AliPay – we had a payment issue, and the administrators solved it for us. Furthermore, one of the front desk ladies helped us book exactly the tour we needed. Since the standard tours didn't suit our specific route request, she went out of her way to help us organize everything. We had breakfast included, but we had to leave too early to enjoy it. So that we wouldn't go hungry, the incredibly thoughtful staff offered us croissants and milk! We also made great use of the coffee machine in the lobby. Thank you so much to the hotel for such a comfortable and memorable stay! We highly recommend it.

This hotel is very lovely and natural and I loved it! The staff was extremely helpful, everything was clean, working, and easy to understand! Everyone at the desk and the staff were all very helpful and understanding of the fact that I did not speak Chinese, and this effort was appreciated. They communicated via WeChat so that I could translate their messages easily :) If one day I come back to Guilin, I will stay here again! The location is great, it is an easy walk to the main market street (East West Street). Also the breakfast was delicious - I wish I could eat wontons every day for the rest of my life 😁

Located in Guilin Creative Industry Park, the layout of the hotel is like a private garden, and the Chinese furniture is a home style, which makes this low-key hotel a model to be imitated in the industry. It is comfortable to stay here, and I can't help but praise it.

The hotel is nestled within a park, offering a truly tranquil experience. Occasionally, we'd have monkeys visiting, which was a delightful close encounter with wildlife that the kids absolutely loved. The hotel's service and staff attitude were truly outstanding – absolutely nothing to fault. Every request was met with a prompt and helpful response, truly embodying the 'customer first' philosophy. We initially planned to stay just one night, but the kids enjoyed it so much they didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay to three days. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the hotel is a bit of a distance from the main park entrance. This means relying on the hotel's designated electric shuttle for getting in and out (though ironically, the kids absolutely adored these rides – I'm still not sure what they found so appealing!). On another note, the hotel's dining was excellent; my two daughters loved the braised eggplant dish so much they ordered it three times!

At the end of the New Year, I didn't want to be stuck on the highway, so I deliberately played in Guilin for two days and waited until the free highway peak was over before leaving for home. So I checked the hotels in Guilin on Dazhong and a certain cheng. I actually saw that there is their own hotel in Guilin Seven Star Park. It is called Crescent Moon Tower Hotel. And according to the comments of its tourists, the monkeys in the Seven Star Park are free-range, and you can go in to feed the monkeys. If you don't want to go out, their hotel faces the Seven Star Mountain, and there are floor-to-ceiling glass windows, so you can watch the monkeys directly. It's really awesome. And the room rate is not expensive, just over 200 yuan. Another important point is that I didn't know it until I went in. The Seven Star Park requires a ticket, which costs 55 yuan per ticket. We stayed in the park hotel and actually got 2 tickets for the Seven Star Park for free. That is to say, it is equivalent to staying for free to visit the park for 2 days. Finally, I have to thank the hotel owner, because my power bank was left in the room, and I had to trouble the owner to send it back to Guangzhou for me. And we went in and out frequently during the two days of accommodation, and the owner used the scenic area tram to take us in and out. I really trouble you.

(Chunlan Qiushu - Yunlan) Guilin's tourism reputation goes without saying, but the appeal of the Chunlan Qiushu B&B lies in its design, taste, spaciousness, and meticulous service. This B&B's location is a tourist attraction in itself, and the architectural design and tasteful interior decoration, combined with the natural lighting in the rooms and the various furnishings in the lobby, truly embodies the ideal of discerning travelers. The young butler, Chuanchuan, is attentive and proactive in providing tourist information and assistance. The rooms feature high-end personal care products, and the air conditioning and water pressure are excellent. I came to Guilin with my family for a trip. A local friend recommended this hotel to me. I found it was a treasure to stay in this hotel. The distance to the scenic spot was just right. The hotel facilities were complete. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The most praiseworthy thing was the service attitude. Very close to the scenic spot and worth the upgrade cost to get a big window to have a lovely view! The staff was accommodating at all hours of the day and even have snacks and water up front. Check in was easy and the room was well sized. A good restaurant is a few minutes walk away to bring back food for their terrace area. Breakfast was simple but filling for a days adventures. Although we didn’t end up booking a tour, the hotel offered a contact to view the prices for tours. Overall was a very pleasant time with this hotel.
