Guilin Diecai District Hotels

I am a world traveler and have stayed in Guilin many times. This is my now my favorite hotel in China and one my best hotel experiences anywhere. I stayed for one week. This is an intimate, boutique style hotel. Service consistently exceeded expectations from every staff member - at check-in, dining room, housekeeping, daily free laundry, free cultural and activity experiences, concierge assistance - outstanding level of friendly service. Staff at the front desk speak English. We also took advantage of the free costume photography and unique chime and bowl singing mediation. The value is excellent for the affordable cost. The bedding assured a great night sleep and the room had a spectacular view of the river and mountain. We were provided free drink, including my favorite local beer, and snacks from our room mini-cooler! The hotel has a great location near many attractions, and also has access to a long river walkway behind the hotel that takes you to one of the major parks. Many excellent food choices for Chinese style breakfast with the famous Guilin noodle. There is no bar at this hotel, but I brought my beer or drinks and smokes up to the rooftop terrace to relax with the spectacular view. Lounge sofa chairs in the lobby openair balcony overlook the Li Jiang river flowing by. Delightful place to relax with a drink from the coffee/tea service. (It was closed unfortunately for two days I was there, due to a meeting. Ask when you check in about availability of this feature.) Taxis were available when needed, literally, within a minute of ordering. I also took advantage of simple facilities in a gym space and a large and fun kids play room when a toddler came to visit. Overall, the best place to stay for vacation time in Guilin.

It's so photogenic, the details are nice, The room is very textured and stylish, clean and comfortable, the owner is warm and cheerful, the service is thoughtful, there are too many plus points to list, but I was woken up by the singing of birds at 7 o'clock in the morning, I was a little emotional, I hope the owner can help me take more beautiful photos next time I come back!

Authentic Chinese Hospitality Experience! -Location was superb, opposite Guilin North Station (桂林北站). There are many restaurants and souvenir shops next to the hotel and railway station. -Room was clean and had Chinese traditional decor and furnishings which was our main reason to stay here. -The two young front reception staff were outstanding, very warm, polite and hospitable. The best of all of our hotel stays in China. - The welcome drink has unique local flavours. - The breakfast has ample local dishes and overlooking The Railway North Station with the beautiful hills of Guilin as backdrop. - The corridor has a collection of porcelains but the lighting was not bright enough for us to appreciate them. Must walk below the light sensor to have brighter lights to be switched on automatically. - Only disappointment was the tobacco smell at the public area as guests were allowed smoking at the reception sofa area.

Behind the hotel, there is a huge lake and walking trail viewing Guilin scenery. Even if it was hot to visit some travel spots, we can enjoy walking around the hotel and shoot some good photos. The breakfast was not bad compared to a room rate. I cannot say all service and facilities are good to stay because it is too old. 😅 it reminds of an old-style Chinese hotel. We had dinner at a hotel restaurant and ordered the 4 persons package. It doesn’t taste fresh but not too bad. There were only two teams including us, having dinner. We had a calm and peaceful dinner time. The staff was very friendly. ❤️ However, if you care of the location and prices, this hotel is reasonable 😆

Great stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. When I needed help to get to a scenic place they helped me get in contact with people and also looked up bus timings for me. Everytime you walk in they greet you. The cleaner came everyday to provide new towel and bottles water and clean the place a little and even wrote a note to say they are very happy to provide this service. Would go back and stay /10. The place is directly opposite the station, super convenient to get to.

The brand is the brand, the environment is comfortable, although there are some minor shortcomings, such as no heating, they immediately arranged to change rooms, and the waiter's attitude was very good. The breakfast was rich and tasted OK. I always stay in this brand hotel

Hotel Boyard left me with only positive impressions. The most important thing I want to highlight is the incredibly polite and attentive staff, who are always ready to help and go the extra mile for the guests. Communication is excellent: the employees are friendly, considerate, and quick to resolve any questions. The hotel is very clean, everything inside is tidy and comfortable. Our room had a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon check-in, we were given a free room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. I was also very pleased that we were allowed to check in a bit earlier than 12:00 and check out at 2:00 p.m. instead of noon, as we wanted to take a walk before leaving. There is also a washing machine and a dryer available, which makes the stay even more convenient. Overall, the hotel fully meets my expectations and truly deserves the five stars it has on the platform. The staff is simply excellent!

Traveling to Guilin by car, the hotel has free parking and ample parking spaces. The hotel's service attitude is very good and welcoming, and the lobby is very spacious. There is a free laundry room and gym on the eighth floor of the hotel. It also provides laundry service, which is very convenient. The room facilities are well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable and clean, the memory pillows are particularly comfortable, and the hotel breakfast is also very good and rich in variety. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Guilin.

The location of the hotel is great. It's right away from the Guilin North High-speed Railway Station. It doesn't even take five minutes to walk. I went to Yangshuo during my trip and it was so convenient to take the high-speed rail and save the cost of taking a taxi. There are also many shared electric vehicles nearby. It is very convenient whether you are going to nearby places or traveling by high-speed rail. There are many small restaurants downstairs, which is convenient for eating, and the rooms are also very clean. The best part of the experience is that the lady at the front desk upgraded us to a panoramic room for free, and the view is super nice! ! Although the trip had to end early due to weather conditions, I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Guilin😘

The bed was very comfortable and I slept very satisfactorily. The sanitary conditions are also good, the overall facilities are complete, the disposable slippers are made of thick fabric and have good workmanship, and the details are the highlight. The hotel is very close to Guilin High-speed Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. You can store your luggage for free, and the front desk lady and brother are also very nice. Recommended for travel and business trips, very convenient for travel, and the stay is still very comfortable!
