A good hostel east of the Li River, a 10- to 15-minute walk to the central pedestrian zone. Clean, only one shared restroom, but it was always free, two shared showers, good WiFi, and no kitchen for cooking (as far as I could see). International guests and a good opportunity to mingle and meet people, whom the owner supports through communal activities such as dining out or excursions, e.g., to the Longsheng rice terraces.
There's a hostel dog.

This place is run by the friendliest couple who are happy to take guests out to dinner, drinks and show them best attractions of Guilin. Great atmosphere and friendships are formed.

Cyan box team were amazing hosts. I loved all the energy and the good vibes they transmitted. They are very helpful and informative.
It is a social hostel. We played card games, they organised dinners with their team and the guests. They also offer tours and they also suggested activities to do nearby and they accompanied the guests to do some of these activities, which was so much fun.

Everything is a bit older and shabbier than in the pictures. Overall ok hostel. The best thing about it are the owners who really go above and beyond to make sure you have a good stay.
