Myself and partner booked 4 nights at Al Karob. The building, the bedroom, the gardens, the staff and the yoga sessions are all exquisite. I have never been anywhere that has felt so relaxing and peaceful but not silent. You feel very looked after by all the very pleasant staff as nothing is too much for them. Thank you Silvia and team. We zijn 11 dagen bij Al Karob geweest en hebben het ontzettend naar ons zin gehad. Silvia en assistente Safi zijn fantastische gastvrouwen. We kregen van Silvia allerlei restaurants en bezienswaardigheden toegestuurd via What'sApp. Alle restaurants hebben we uitgeprobeerd en waren geweldig. Heerlijk eten en prima service. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Elke dag wat anders. Ook een heleboel vers fruit uit eigen tuin en bij verrassing af en toe wat speciaals bij het ontbijt. Ook kan je een paar keer per week meedoen met het diner. De ene keer met vis en de andere keer vega. Voor joga kan je je elke dag opgeven om mee te doen. Ook niet te vergeten, de fantastische massage. Vergeet hier ook niet aan deel te nemen. Houd je van shoppen, dan ligt er een groot winkelcentrum 5 minuten van de locatie. Leuke winkels en de bekende eettenten. Al met al, hebben we een fantastische vakantie gehad. Zeker om weer een keer terug te gaan. Je hebt wel een auto nodig, want alles ligt achteraf.

Gorgeous place. Super kind host. The place feels luxurious and extremely well run with utmost care and love. The pool is magnificent. Breakfast was spectacular. Rave review!! I hope to return one day. Bike shop and ride to Silves is nearby. Fun!

Een echte aanrader , de gastvrouw is heel attent . We hebben er heerlijk ontbeten en het menu s'avonds was heel lekker. De yogales was heel goed gegeven. Mooi zwembad en goede ligbedden. We hebben er gefietst op de mooie rustige paden. Ook mooi om te wandelen

Amazing little hotel for a relaxing break! The location is great. On the one hand in the middle of fields/greenery, with unobstructed views. On the other hand, close enough to pretty towns, like Loule and Silves for some sigthseeing. But the best thing about it was the hospitality of Silvia and the team. They were nothing but flexible and ensured I had a comfortable, wonderful stay. The juices and soups straight from the garden were absolutely yummy. And the massage was one of the best ai ever had. The pool looks great. It was a bit too early in the season, to try it out, but in the warmer time of the year should be a place to easily spent hours at.

The Al Karob is an oasis of calm and relaxation hidden away between Albufeira and Guia. I had a fantastic stay here from the very warm welcome by Silvia and Salvi to the delicious homemade breakfasts and dinners (Silvia and her husband grow a lot of the produce themselves) to the superb yoga classes. It could not have been better. You can see the love and attention to detail that Silvia and her husband have put into the Al Karob. It is so welcoming and cosy, all the bedrooms, dining area and yoga room, are beautifully decorated. Silvia goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and to help you with anything extra that you would like to do. In my case, it was an aerial yoga class with Rita which was fantastic! I cannot recommend the Al Karob highly enough. It truly is a luxury hotel which makes you feel at home right away with kind, friendly staff, delicious food, great yoga, a beautiful pool and gardens. I definitely plan on going back!
