3-Star Hotels in Guadix

Hubby and I stayed in this hotel. The receptionist was REALLY friendly upon entry. We were checked in fairly quickly. One can park outside the hotel (plenty free parking there)-no private though. The hotel has a restaurant which one could eat breakfast, lunch etc. The room was very clean. Handicap accessible and friendly. There is an elevator. We hadnt paid for breakfast in our package as one could eat as the locals do (which we love doing). There are restaurants near the hotel that serve the local spanish breakfast. Internet was good. Great location. We had a view of the street. Beds were very comfortable. Very short but pleasant stay. Have a question? Just ask them at reception. They seem so happy to help and guide us around their beautiful city. HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you e in Guadix. Thank you Hotel Mari Carmen! :)

We had the pleasure of staying at your hotel in a Bentofail Andalusia on our way to Portugal. From booking to arrival/check-in we had the pleasure of speaking to and meeting the lovely Lucia. She couldn’t have possibly been more helpful. If I owned a hotel I would steal her! The hotel is beautiful with tastefully designed and furnished rooms, in the heart of the old town, absolutely splendid. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was really very good and again the staff were welcoming. Because of the size of our car, it wouldn’t fit into the garage and so we parked maybe 100 yards away in a quiet street. The following morning when we had checked out and returned to the car with our luggage, we found we had a flat tyre. We returned to the hotel and the lovely Lucia, who was thankfully still on duty, found us a local garage to try to repair the puncture. Within 10 to 15 minutes the garage arrived and looked at the car tyre and advised it really needed to be replaced but because of the size of the car that it wasn’t a normal size, so if we wanted a new one, which is what he suggested he wouldn’t be able to help us because he wouldn’t be able to have one delivered within the next 48 hours. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to wait and so the mechanic set about fixing the tyre, re filling it and advised that we regularly check the pressure along the way and have it changed as soon as possible.
