It is very close to the cable car departure point. Just turn left when you go out. The front desk is friendly and welcoming. There are quite a lot of breakfast options. The room is clean and spacious. You can see the snow-capped mountains and the dreamy hillside when you open the balcony. It is also very close to the train station and is very convenient to reach on foot.

The hotel is at the quieter end of the main street, near a bus stop, with its own grounds. Pleasant stroll from the station if no luggage. It has a traditional feel with modern conveniences. The rooms are bright and spacious, very comfortable beds (including the extra bed), clean bathrooms. The breakfast had good options, a big dining area and a fantastic view. All staff we encountered were warm and very helpful, from our reservation to our arrival, stay, and departure. The free shuttle to and from Grindelwald station, board games in the lounge area, and the little jam giveaways at checkout were nice touches for guests. Special thanks to Manuel, Lydia, Nicole, Lucas, and the whole team for giving us such a memorable stay!

I thought everything about this hotel was first class - good location, nice bedrooms and public rooms , good food. The best thing of all was the very high standard of customer service from all the staff I met, especially the reception team who were always ready with helpful advice.

Unser 3. Aufenthalt im Großraum Grindelwald und definitiv unser Favorit! Familiengeführtes Hotel mit Charme und Herzlichkeit in unmittelbarer Nähe des Zentrums und trotzdem absolut ruhig. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Hotel, Bushaltestelle 1 Minute und Bahnhof 10 m Gehstrecke vom Hotel entfernt. Nachhaltig geführtes Restaurant, Gletscherwasser als Trinkwasser - herrlich! Nach ausgiebigen Wanderungen, Schwimmbad bzw Sauna haben das abendliche Menu auf der Terrasse genossen. Das neu renovierte Chalet war leider noch nicht eröffnet.

Great hotel, great location, great staff!!! The room and views are amazing. They are located right near the First cable car. But best of all is the staff beginning with the owners, Sven and Manuela, who really took the time to get to know us! I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, if I have, please forgive me. The great service began when Nelson picked us up at the train station, then we met Mariella at reception who took us to our room and explained everything about the hotel. Manuel, Vrisela, and everyone at the restaurant were fabulous and Lydia at the bar also took the time to get to know us. If you are looking for a home away from home, stay here!
