Choosing this accommodation for our honeymoon was a very good choice. The view is fantastic and there are no cons other than the small elevator. The owner is very friendly and nice.

8月初旬に、家族3人で、最上階のバルコニー付きマウンテンビューツインルーム2室で5泊しました。幸い天気にも恵まれて、毎日アイガーのモルゲンロートとアーベントロートをバルコニーから堪能できました。ホテル前は一面芝生で、遮るものもなくアイガーと三角屋根の家、そこを登っていく登山電車を一望できます。
グリンデルワルトには何回も来ていますが、ここからの眺めが一番でした。2つ星で部屋の施設は最小限のものですが、1室は浴室付きでしたので、トレッキングで疲れたときは湯船につかることができました。部屋に冷蔵庫がありませんでしたが、生鮮品とかをホテルで快く預かっていただきました。朝食はコンチネンタルですが、毎朝美味しくハム・チーズ・ゆで*、それに温かいクロワッサンにジャムを付けていただきました。夕食は、スイス郷土料理を食べたければ、メインストリート沿いのホテルやレストランがいくらでもありますし、実際ホテルアイガー1階のレストランにチーズフォンデュを食べに行きましたが、Coopで調達してきたグリルを、アイガーを目の前に、バルコニーのテーブルで食べるのが、何よりのご馳走でした(室内で調理はしていません。)。
南西角部屋を割り当ててくれたので、ラウバーホルンからチュッゲン・メンリッヒェンなどもよく見ることができました。夜は星空もきれいで、流れ星も見られました。いい思い出になりました。

The hotel is very well situated within steps of the train station. The breakfast is very complete and good. The hotel is very dated and so are the rooms . There is a wonderful view of the mountains . The location is great , but the hotel needs major updating .

We totally love the location! It is just 2 minutes walk from the Grindelwald Station. The room is spacious with sachets of shampoo and soap provided. The floor creaks at certain steps and the bathroom can get a little too dark. We can hear next-door conversations from the toilet. The windows to our room (22) faces the bank. The breakfast offered is lovely with a decent variety of choices.

Surprisingly it was unbelievable beautiful mountains view. Great central location and only 2-minute walk to Grindelwald Train Station.
