A local 4-star hotel with a Michelin restaurant that is recommended on many websites.
The location is about 8-10 minutes walk from the train station, and you can see the First Mountain from the hotel.
As soon as we checked in, we felt the staff was very enthusiastic. The winter-only welcome drinks and fruits warmed us up immediately when we arrived late at night! The room is modernly decorated, the supplies are well selected, and the view from the room with balcony that I booked this time is also super great!
The breakfast was normal, but the dining area was so beautiful that it looked great no matter how you took photos! Free desserts are also provided in the afternoon.
It’s a pity that this time I happened to encounter their fine dining on two days off a week, so I didn’t have the chance to experience it.
A small reminder, the hotel provides station pick-up but it requires additional charges. But there is bus number 123 at the door (after checking in, the hotel will give you a small piece of paper that allows you to take the bus for free and enjoy some ticket discounts). The bus does not always run depending on the time.

AMAZING! From the moment we arrived this hotel exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with a welcome drink and nuts on their beautiful deck. Although we booked what we thought was a basic room, it was massive with the cutest view. The breakfasts each day were special too. They also provide free access to a laundry room which was a welcomed bonus. The hotel is conveniently located with a bus stop right out the front and a short walk to gondola stations. The staff here also seem so happy to be working at this establishment. Everyone was so helpful and attentive. We really did not want to leave. The only negative would have to be the constant stream of influencers coming to dine on the deck. They would order two coffees and a dessert, film it and leave. Many of them were very rude to the staff, pushing to have a table closer to the balcony. Not sure if the hotel needs to add a surcharge to diners who are not hotel guests.

Our family of 8 stayed at the Grindelhome Penthouse for 5 nights. WOW! The views off our balcony were spectacular. Penthouse was well equipped including a sauna, fireplace, beautifully decorated bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was perfect. Within walking distance to train, First Terminal. I will definitely be back.

Stunning views, convenient location. Friendly staff. Lovely spa. Property and rooms very clean.
Good variety of foods at breakfast. Very slow toaster that only takes 2 slices at a time leaves guests waiting around. Serving spoons/tongs were being mixed up for eggs, potatoes and sausages and meats were touching cheeses which is off putting if you are vegan/vegetarian/religious diet. No water cooler in the communal lounge space seems very mean considering in the rooms guests are encouraged to refill the glass bottle provided with water from the tap since it’s such good quality.
