The Old Hall Hotel

This is the second consecutive year we have been to The Old Hall Hotel and yes it was as good as we remembered. The rooms were good with very comfortable beds. The breakfasts were amazing and it is nice to have a spa onsite for an early morning swim or relax in the sauna and try and sweat off the pounds you put on eating the great food available in the bar or restaurant. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel was ideally situated for the bus stop to Gt Yarmouth and at a single fare of £1.50 was excellent value. The beach is within easy walking distance and the Lifeboat Café serves excellent sweet and savoury treats and drinks which by buying you are helping keeping one of the few independent Lifeboats running. What could better whilst on holiday guilt free cake.

I had a pregnancy massage today by a girl known as "Mara" it was amazing. Felt very relaxed and glowing when i left, exactly how any pregnant mumma would want to feel. Would definitely recommend to anyone whos pregnant and would happily return. Thank you x

I absolutely loved my stay. The room was so clean and smelt lovely, the shower was a nice big one and was extremely powerful, the gym and facilities were great, dinner was lovely with a huge portion, and breakfast wasn’t a buffet it was a beautiful made to order menu! Every single member of staff from the reception, bar staff, breakfast, and gym were so friendly, chatty and accommodating. I was actually really surprised because it’s so rare you see that nowadays. I was away for business 5 hours away from home and my young family and I genuinely felt at home and really safe, and not on my own. A huge thank you!!!

Absolutely brilliant weekend, hotel and food exceeded my expectations. Room spacious and breakfast choice excellent. Ate at restaurant one evening and the food and service superb. Added bonus was the pool and spa facilities on site which was easily accessible for my friend with mobility issues.

What can I say the hotel is 10/10 .we got in our room which was lovely the staff decorated it with Happy birthday banners and Happy anniversary banners and balloons for my birthday and anniversary. The hotel is amazing it as a swimming pool jacuzzi steam room and sauna that's most than over hotels have . The food was always good and the breakfast was great . The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend it to anyone. Our room number was number 6 it was a premier suite

The hotel was in a great location for exploring the area, the staff were very friendly and helpful with tips of where to visit, our room was clean and comfortable with A/C, the pool and sauna was a welcome place after days out and about, would definitely book again if in the area.

Loved this hotel. The staff, reception, reception in pool area, bar and restaurant were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and smiling. The room was pleasant the food good, we shared a meal with family we were visiting, there was absolutely nothing remotely negative. Very surprised to be served with entire breakfast, nothing serve yourself and loads of choice. Thank you and well done everybody.

The hotel room was lovely and we had the loveliest surprise of balloons and a banner in our room for our anniversary! We were so touched by this - thank you so much. The breakfast was really lovely and the dinner here was great aswell (make sure you book in advance as it gets busy). We cannot fault anything here - it really was fantastic. The only downside was the fire alarm went off at 5am and we had to evacuate - false alarm so thankfully we could quickly return inside and of course this is not the hotels fault at all, it just happens. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend and we will definitely return.

Had the most amazing stay at The Old Hall hotel, the location was perfect as we was looking for a relaxing break for 2 nights for our 20th anniversary, when we arrived at our room they had kindly decorated it with rose petals on our bed, balloons and a banner, how lovely to walk into that, the room smelt really nice as did the corridors. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were very soft. We made use of the swimming pool, sauna, spa and jacuzzi everyday, the breakfast was absolutely beautiful and lots of choice, the quality of the breakfast was great! It was a nice 10 minute stroll to the lovely beach and the bus stop was 2 minutes walk away, we got the bus into Great Yarmouth, a lovely lady who was working the breakfast shift told us which bus and where. All the staff were very nice even in the spa area, we felt very welcome. Overall loved our stay and we will definitely be returning.
