Residence Inn Grand Rapids Downtown

Came for an overnight stay with my son to see a concert at GLC. Spoke with a Charveletta(spelling might be all wrong)! She was AMAZING!! We wanted an early check in since we were driving from 3 hours away and we wanted to relax before the concert. She was so accommodating and a pleasure to talk to! Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was awesome, we are already looking for upcoming concerts to see so we can stay here again!

Our stay at The Residence Inn Grand Rapids was one of the best and most hospitable experiences we’ve had at Marriott hotel ever. From arrival to departure the staff was welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to provide information, suggest local attractions and dining options, and answer all our questions. In fact, even after departure, the manager went out of his way to contact me to let me know I had accidentally an item in the room. Even though it was just a paperback book, his professionalism and effort to coordinate the return was far beyond what I would have expected anyone to do for such a small item. The hotel is very conveniently located to restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, breweries and shopping. Overnight garage parking with in and out privileges is available with the hotel for a very reasonable price. The corner room was spacious and the kitchen is very well stocked - although we did not end up cooking. For our short trip, this hotel offered all the space and convenience of an airbnb without the added fees and costs. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room. Convenient location and parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Unusual triangular but charming shaped building. Look and feel of an old hotel, but newly built with all modern conveniences. On site restaurant, called Social Misfits (see review ) top notch.
