The most outstanding thing about the hotel is its affordable price. All services are basically in line with three-star standards. There is basically no road noise in south-facing rooms. There are many free parking spaces outside the gate. Since there are too many restricted areas for vehicles in the city, it is best to take a taxi to the old city. District tour

The location is good. There is a large shopping mall next to it. Because it is an old hotel, the facilities are a bit old, but overall it is good

The price was very good and the bathtub was clean. It took about 30-40 minutes to transfer from Granada Station using a public pass.

Convenient parking, the facilities are a bit old, but the hygiene is clean. The front desk staff is very indifferent and makes people feel uncomfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights at the Saylu Hotel, which is outside of Granada city centre. Many hotels in the city centre were booked out for Semana Santa and the remaining hotels available did not have ensuite bedrooms so we booked to stay here. I am glad because staying close to the festivities in the city would have driven me crazy! Saylu Hotel was a 40 minute journey from the bus station using public transport and there is a bus, the S2, a short walk from the hotel, which brings you to the city centre in less than 20 minutes. The La Alhambra is a very short taxi drive away for a little under €8. The hotel is basic and a bit dated as mentioned in other reviews. It was, however, very clean. The receptionist and cleaning staff were all very friendly. A breakfast buffet is available at €4.50 / person and we enjoyed our breakfast and the amount of choice. Our bedroom did not have air conditioning or a fridge. The room did get very hot at night and my boyfriend did not want to sleep with the window open as there was too much noise from the motorway. I would suggest to guests coming in spring and certainly in the summer to insist that they get a room with AC and a fridge when making a booking. There is nothing much of interest in the area around the hotel, except for possibly the huge shopping centre. The hotel is much much cheaper during off peak seasons and I am sure the price is what makes it very attractive. For a budget hotel, it ticks all the boxes.

It's perfect, the room we had was facing the highway and we didn't hear any noise. The beds were in very good condition, clean, with two pillows and extra blankets in case you got cold. The bathroom was complete with two sets of towels and a toiletry kit, the only thing it didn't have was a hairdryer. I suppose that if you mention it in the reservation they give you a room with a hairdryer. Parking in the hotel itself and in the surrounding area without problem. It only cost us €44 because it was non-refundable, we will definitely return because the quality-price ratio is perfect.

Reasonable quality/price hotel, however, without any type of sound insulation. Noise made in the corridors appears to be inside the room. Breakfast could be better, very basic and when something is finished it is not replaced. Cleaning leaves a little to be desired.

I've read a lot of criticism, but we had a good time. It's true, in one of the 2 rooms we booked there was a bit of a bad smell, I think from sewage coming from the bathroom, but otherwise it met the expectations of a 3 star hotel. At the reception they were kind and helpful, even getting us a taxi quickly when we needed it. The free parking in front of the entrance was very convenient, even if it wasn't very large and after a certain hour it was easy to find it full. The bus that takes you to the center (I think S2) is a few minutes from the hotel. Ticket cost €1.40. There were 4 of us, so €5.60, and for the same amount or a little more you can go by taxi. Then from the center if you want to get to the Alhambra you have to take another bus, or take a hike uphill (in the August heat), or extend the taxi ride. The breakfast is quite varied. Dinner at the hotel was also not bad. Fixed menus with 3 choices of first and second courses at €11 or à la carte. Too bad the lady only speaks exclusively Spanish. Not even a word of English or even Italian, which was strange, was how we were able to make the simplest concepts understood.

For the price you can't ask for more, clean and spacious room, good service and if you have everything, mention the person who was at the reception (Laura) who told us in detail all the steps we had to take to get to our room. destination, since we were going to a concert and we were very stuck on bus routes and walking around. A ten for Laura, just for that attention it is worth coming back

My son is in that hotel (so to speak) and he has shown me photos of the smoke/fire detector with a band-aid and the pillow with a large piece missing from one end. Terrible quality. They should close it.

Very good hotel, friendliness of the staff, excellent cleanliness, same quality, good price, in short, a luxury to have been there, we are from Catalonia, they helped us a lot with advice on visiting Granada, they also recommended me to visit the Alpujarras, beautiful towns in this hotel, we have had a luxury thanks to everyone staff

It seems disrespectful to me that they offer a room with air conditioning and then don't want to put it in. The solution they give me is to cancel the reservation and leave the hotel at 1:44 in the morning. What shamelessness

We got the date mixed up in the reservation and the receptionist solved it for us. Very kind. The breakfast agreed with the price. Cleaning well. Very comfortable bed. The cleaning lady very nice. The only drawback I have, but it is only to improve it, is that a lot of light comes in because the dark curtains do not close. Recommended price quality.
