Very historic hotel. The building is beautiful inside and out and has been carefully maintained. There are many vintage furniture and decorations inside, which creates a great atmosphere.

After coming back from outside, you can warm yourself up with a cup of hot coffee in the beautiful lobby.
The best thing about it is the location, which is right next to the central station. You can just cross the street and it has convenient transportation. The bus stop to the airport is next to the central station, so you can reach the airport in half an hour.
If I come back to Gothenburg, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Extremely well located in the centre of Gothenburg, directly opposite the central railway station, and the departure point of the airport bus. Nice restaurant and bar. Size of the room average but great to relax on the soft comfortable bed. Breakfast was very welcome and a good selection of Scandinavian offerings. Just nearby to a shopping mall so OK for essentials / fast food.
It is also within a short distance (5 mins walk) of the Botanical Gardens which had a colourful and varied array of horticulture - great for a walk and a bit of exercise after your flight.

A rather old-fashioned hotel. The lobby, rooms, and corridors all look very historic.
The waiter was very friendly. Refreshments and fruits are also available in the lobby. The breakfast was average, but still good.
The geographical environment is very advantageous. Quarantined at the Gothenburg Central Station bus station. There are also large shopping malls nearby.

We thought our stay was absolutely fantastic, because it was as if we were brought back to 1859 through the hotel's interior, furniture and decorations that added a lot to our mental and emotional experience. Even though the hotel is old, it is still neat, clean, neat and well maintained. We thought the staff were absolutely exceptional, because they are service-minded, welcoming and nice people. As for breakfast, it consisted of good and fresh quality products that were always replenished. While our beds were very comfortable which meant that we slept very well. 🥰 We highly recommend Hotel Eggers and wish them continued success!💖🎖
