Spa Hotels in Golmud

This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.

We were transiting in Golmud. The hotel we booked at first was not very good, so we changed to Hilton. We just looked at the reviews and decided. We thought there would be no star-level hotels in Haixi Prefecture, but the Hilton in Golmud exceeded my expectations. The lobby reception breakfast and guest rooms are all five-star standards, with full marks for details. It is also one of the few hotels with air conditioning. Takeout can be delivered to the door. There is free parking in the underground garage. The breakfast is great. The front desk lady is also very beautiful. The bathroom sanitary ware is also high-standard Duravit and Grohe. The water flow is large and the water pressure is stable, the hot water is sufficient, and there is no sewer smell. The bedding is also very good, the usual King Koil series is comfortable and easy to sleep, which relieves the fatigue of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Beautiful Haixi Prefecture, perfect Hilton.

Every time we left the room and came back, they would ask if we had cleaned it. When we came back, the room was always clean and tidy, and the bed was made very comfortable. This high-quality service is unforgettable. Let's talk about the restaurant of this hotel. You can eat there all day long. They prepare a lot. From breakfast, you can see that the restaurant staff will always replenish the food. For breakfast, it is a very rich buffet. You can take whatever you want. There are many kinds of food. If you don't have enough, you can tell the staff and they will add it for you immediately. There will be some free lunch (fruits, snacks) at noon. There will be handmade wontons and a bowl of noodles in the evening. You see, the service of this hotel provides us consumers with many favorable conditions and saves us a lot. It is really a hotel for consumers. I strongly recommend this hotel. If you don't experience it once, you will never know that there is such a good Meihao Hotel in Golmud. This hotel has a free gym, and the environment is clean and hygienic. Every morning, I will exercise in the hotel gym for an hour. The setting of this facility is really great. Finally, I must mention the environment of the hotel. The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and surrounded by night markets and shopping centers. Looking out of the hotel window, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city and the beautiful Kunlun Snow Mountain on this side, which makes you feel relaxed.

The old hotel is very good. Although the facilities are a bit old, it is clean and the breakfast is not bad. There is an unknown cleaning lady who is very sincere and actively helps us.

We were 3 people on a business trip and didn't expect to have a 4-person room. There was a large bed and two single beds. The room was large, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the transportation was convenient, and the room was clean. I will stay here again next time.

I chose this hotel because the airport bus departs from here; however, the information regarding the bus schedule was patchy. The hotel staff did not know what was the latest schedule, but all of them had been very helpful to try to help me with it - from the manager to the cleaning staff. All of this shows that this hotel cares for the guests.

The hotel was very good, the manager upgraded the room type, saw that we were bringing children, and also sent the children's breakfast. The room has a humidifier, and direct drinking water, very intimate, and the hair dryer is super easy to use. The breakfast is very rich, as well as beef ramen and fried eggs. The manager is super good, I have a little high reaction with the child, she provided us with a lot of help, give the manager a big praise. After my friend came to Golmud, I recommended him to live here.
