The hotel was lovely and clean. It had a lovely cafe at the entrance that we enjoyed breakfast at. The gym was a decent size and the staff were friendly. The hotel is convenient as it has a subway station on floor 2 which was perfect.
Featuring 196 guestrooms, the hotel is built sustainably. The tranquility of the rooms with their modern design, as well as the infinity pool and indoor swimming pool, the creative French dining restaurant and lounge bar, along with the contemporary art pieces, will enchant guests. From our 20th-floor lobby, take in the serene poetry of the softly glowing Han River and the lush Bamseom under the tranquil night sky, a gift of nature's calm. Welcome to Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery.

The hotel is clean and provides the products of GROWN ALCHEMIST for body cream, hand wash, shampoo and body cleaner. All of them smell good and girls will like this. Besides, plastic slippers are provided. Very considerate since the paper slippers would get wet after bathing. I ordered in-room dining for 2 times. Excellent for 1st time but disappointed for 2nd since the food was left cool and I waited for around 45 mins. For breakfast, it was highly recommended. The food was delicious and the price was lower if reserved one day advancement.

I recently stayed at The Connoisseur Residence Hotel for 4 nights, and I must say, it was a great experience. While the hotel may seem to be situated in a business area that appears to be in the middle of nowhere, I found the location to be quite convenient. It was only a 15-minute metro ride to Hongdae, and Itaewon was similarly accessible in about 15 to 20 minutes. Myeong-dong took around 25 to 30 minutes to reach, which was manageable.
The neighborhood had plenty of restaurants, and I appreciated the several convenience stores open 24/7, along with a nearby laundry that was also open around the clock. Additionally, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk to both the IFC Mall and Hyundai Mall, making it easy to shop and dine.
If you're planning to explore all the major areas in Seoul, I highly recommend this hotel as a base. One feature I particularly loved was the LG airdresser in the room; I used it every day, and it worked perfectly. Overall, a great stay!

Room is quite small. Had 2 bars of used soap, a used toothpaste and a used wash cloth. Cold water in the wash sink is out of order in our room so we had to be extra cautious or get scolded with hot water when brushing our teeth. This is just a place to sleep not to feel comfortable. Overall a 2.2/5. The added .5 because they do provide new towels daily, free water and room cleaning.
Sinchon/Hongdae | 8.25km from Gocheok Sky Dome Arena
This was my first time staying at this kind of ”hotel,” and it was a truly unique experience.
Pros first:
1. The location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk from Hongik University subway station Exit 7, and the area is bustling.
2. The room feels like a Korean home, with a homey feel. It can accommodate up to four people.
3. It's fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, cooking, microwave, washing machine, refrigerator—everything is there.
4. No one was there to assist you throughout the entire stay. The room door code was sent to you via Ctrip half an hour before check-in.
Cons:
1. It's on the fourth floor, and there's no elevator!!!
2. The overall cleanliness is acceptable, but the hotel is definitely dated. The decor feels like it was built 20 years ago, and the interior is also dated. There are also quite a few moth flies in the room (the nastiest black bugs you'd find in the bathroom...).
3. The owner must have been upset by a previous guest, but their deliberate display of disrespect is still unpleasant.
● Leaving the air conditioner on when you go out and not conserving electricity will result in a fine. ● Exceeding the permitted number of guests will incur a fine, even for temporary visitors.
● Tampering with switches will incur a fine.
● Damaging or damaging items will incur a fine.
● This and that, and they kept mentioning it through Ctrip and Korean chat apps... I'm scratching my head. It's not going to get that bad... Just mention it once, there's no need to keep reminding. They even specifically emphasized the 24/7 surveillance system, which scared me enough to even search the room for hidden cameras.
Overall, the flaws outweigh the advantages. The price is a bit high, but the location is great. If you're a group of four or fewer, consider staying here, as you can buy your own groceries and cook your own meals.
However, for someone like me on a business trip, it's not really suitable. This was my one-time experience.

Very nice apartment, close to the subway entrance, many food and supermarkets nearby, very convenient for shopping, I like the layout of the room, it is also very clean, and the room is fully equipped. The only drawback is that there are sometimes racing ***** in one side of the room at night, which makes a little noise, but everything else is very good! Recommended!

MMomo on the roadSolaria Hotel Review
Cleanliness:
The hotel is absolutely clean. Rooms are cleaned every two days, but fresh towels are provided daily in a basket left at your door, which I found very convenient.
Staff & Services:
The staff are very friendly and cheerful. I requested an extra blanket, and housekeeping delivered it within just five minutes—very responsive and efficient service.
Location:
Excellent location right in the heart of Myeongdong shopping street. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the airport bus station (6001/6015), making it very convenient for travelers.
Room Layout:
I really liked that the toilet and shower are in separate rooms. This made it much more convenient for me and my partner to get ready at the same time.
Added Value:
As a coffee lover, I really appreciated that Nespresso capsules were refilled and restocked every day—a great added touch!
Summary:
Overall, I had a great experience at Solaria Hotel and would highly recommend it.
CCKYNKSThe hotel is very new, everything is clean, the room is average size. The check in process was smooth however before they knew I was a Bonvoy member they hinted that the room wasn’t ready as the official check in time was 4pm (we arrived at 2:30pm)
Then they said that I could get the room now because I was a Bonvoy member. It make it sound like the reception wouldn’t help the client unless they were members of their group
Ttraveller000103The location was the best - just an escalator away from the MRT which brings you from/to Gimpo AND Incheon airport. It is literally located in the heart of Hongdae, offering so many shopping and eating options. Breakfast was an added bonus, which had lovely variety and was delicious!
FFREDERICThé chaîne is adversting rewards program and when you ask the front desk a price for repeat guest for my next stay they said that there is nothing !!! The English is poor and nobody explain nothing ! The roof bar is closed and nobody is telling you that it is in refurbishment ! I ‘m distributing in Europe a AI chatbot for hoteliers and really the hotel chain miss this technology to have a better service in the web site and in the hotel - that permits the guest to speak the same language !!!
SSy 66Hotel service is nice and sweet, all the staffs are pleasant, English fluent, suitable for foreigners to stay. Room is nice and comfortable. Slept very very well. Prime location next to Hyundai mall. Will definitely come back again
AAtiiiWe had a wonderful 3-night stay here with my husband. The location is super convenient , right in the heart of the city . and the room was very clean and peaceful. Breakfast was great, and overall, it was absolutely worth the money.
The hotel is very new and spotless, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Just a heads-up: the reception is located on the 13th floor of the shopping mall, and there’s a smoking area with a really nice view over Seoul . definitely a bonus!
Ffei81I love the interior of my room. It was small but it doesn’t feel small. I can easily store my 2 big luggage there. I am satisfied with the cleanliness. Bed was comfortable. Room temperature is easily modified. Bathroom is quite small but acceptable. There were only 6 rooms in 1 floor. The cafe on 19th floor is worth to visit. My complain was : every morning around 7 AM, the cleaning ladies talked too loud to each other so they disturbed my beauty sleep. But i still recommend this hotel.
MMsBeh94A modern and stylish hotel located about 10 minutes on foot from Seoul Station or Heohyeon Station (slightly closer to hotel), making it an ideal base for travelers using the AREX to Incheon Airport or the KTX to other cities like Busan. The concierge is on Level 1, accessible via the pedestrian-only Seoullo overpass or elevator from the ground floor. Do note that the route from Seoul Station involves gentle slopes, pedestrian crossings, and minor stairs, which might be slightly inconvenient if you're hauling luggage (not bad, might just need more time to arrive hotel).
The hotel has a trendy on-site restaurant, Seoulista, that can get busy at night, which adds to the city vibe and offers room service options like Korean fried chicken (though slightly on the pricey side). A 7-Eleven is nearby, and Namdaemun Market is about a 7-minute walk away, great for morning eats or exploring during the day.
Room matched the photos – ours came with 3 single beds, though space is a bit tight, especially if trying to open multiple suitcases. Amenities were sufficient, except for no microwave, toothbrush and toothpaste, in line with South Korea’s sustainability policy (banned one-time use amenities). The TV supports Netflix, and cleanliness was well-maintained with daily housekeeping visits. One downside was the warm, dim lighting, which could make makeup application a little difficult.
Complimentary luggage storage at hotel is available, which is convenient for early check-in or late departures.
The Seoul Station area can feel a little rough at night, with a visible homeless presence, especially in underpasses. While they’re generally harmless elderly individuals, it’s best to remain aware of your surroundings and use the overpass when possible, where there seems to be a 24/7 security guard presence.
If you have time to spare, the Lotte Outlets and Mart at Seoul Station is a great stop for last-minute souvenir shopping or snacks – it gets quite busy on weekends with travelers making final purchases before flights.
Overall, a comfortable and well-connected hotel, especially for those prioritizing easy access to major rail or bus lines, though the room size and price point may be worth considering for longer stays.
CCherfyingThough the hotel is a bit old, the facilities provided are enough for a pleasant stay.
Besides, hotel staff is nice, there is a microwave in lobby, and free water and coffee being provided.
The location is convenient, within walkable distance to 2 metro stations (of line 2 and 4), so that it is easy to access to other places.
AAnonymous UserI had an amazing stay at Hostel Seven Seoul! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. The hostel itself is super clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I loved the comfortable beds and the thoughtful little touches like privacy curtains and lockers in the dorm rooms.
The location is perfect — just a short walk from public transportation, great cafes, restaurants, and some of Seoul’s coolest neighborhoods. It’s also a peaceful spot, so I could really relax after a day of exploring the city. The common area is a great place to meet other travelers and share experiences.
Overall, Hostel Seven Seoul felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and convenient place to stay in Seoul!
