My friend and I found this hotel a very poor example of a Holiday Inn Express. If this is “the newest and best hotel in Globe” their standards must be very low. The room is quite large so I was surprised there was not a single piece of furniture designed to hold luggage - not even a luggage rack in the room. The AC unit worked well but it rattled constantly which made sleeping through the night difficult. The TV required two wands to operate (with no instructions on which did what) and when I tried to call the front desk to find out how to use the wands the room phone did not work. And then the TV screen had a line down the center which was annoying to watch. Also the toilette height was extremely low - what you might find in an elementary school. The hallways and elevator were excessively warm and the outdoor jacuzzi was out of operation. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and an earlier bed bug infestation had been dealt with. We had no problem with that. The room had a quiet mini fridge, microwave and single serve Keurig coffee machine that also had tea pods. The black out curtains worked well.

An appointment brought us to Globe and this hotel. The hotel is basic, but the breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express and very good. The hotel is south of downtown Globe. It was quiet and clean. Wheelchair ♿️ parking was available. I want to recognize Jerome Brown for extra helpfulness. The pool and hot tub were out of service, and the printer at the business center did not work. Jerome saved the day by using the front desk printer.

Stayed here these past two weeks. The rooms i stayed in had bed bugs. I was transferred to three rooms. I was bitten all over. I was denied a reimbursement for my personal items that were most likely infested according to the exterminator. Although they did offer to wash my clothes. That did not solve my luggage issue. Which i was advised to get rid of due to bug contamination. The employees there were great. They have a great costumer service attitude. I just cant speak much about management and the owners of the hotel. This was no probably the worst situation i have ever been in.

It was unfortunate that the pool and the Jacuzzi were not working because we came down from the lake and really wanted to enjoy both of those things. Also, when I woke up in the morning, there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Not really that big of a deal. Those things happen! The breakfast was great and so is the staff.

This place is low/no quality! Stayed 2 weeks, bed was made twice…..bathroom cleaned once…..checked out early morning and they charged my company for another week?? Didn’t staff enter room to clean????? If they had they would’ve NOTICED I was gone????? Sad that this is best Globe, AZ has to offer???????? Will NEVER stay there again!!!!!!!!

The stay was good, comfortable beds and pillows it was pretty clean. Housekeeping checked with us one morning to ask if we needed anything. The only issue I had, was the person at the front desk called all day about a pre-authorization bc the hotel was full for the weekend. We were traveling and I was in and out of service and every time I called they put me on hold for a while and I would lose the call due to service. When I finally got a hold of her, I expressed I have never had anyone try to pre-authorize my card before we arrived for check in. The lady on the phone said it was the owners who wanted everyone to pay before arriving at the hotel.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever
This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. They “accidentally” charged my car an extra amount equivalent to a room, didn’t tell me and I was out that money all weekend due to not getting the return till a week day. I had to pay late fees on bills I couldn’t pay cause they took that extra payment out as well as an additional 25 dollar fee. Then I went downstairs to get a snack and the front desk lady was talking crap about me in the lobby with other people present, while not knowing I was the person she was talking crap about. I called the manager several times and when she finally got back to me she said all she can offer me is extra points if I become a member?!?! There was no way I would become a member of a hotel that treats people they serve so badly! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
