Excellent location and affordable option in lively west end ! Joe is a fantastic manager . Very funny and helpful. We had a family room. Very grateful to find somewhere on the trnsmt festival weekend. Breakfast is absolutely perfect and I would pre book if I came again as we missed out on the second day having not prebooked the night before . Quality of ingredients was superb and at ten pounds for the lot it’s superb value . Comfy beds. Beautiful surrounding parks to relax and great bars and restaurants all nearby The bathroom is the weak spot . Yes the water is a little noisy , and bathroom small, but it’s part of a beautiful old character building . Not a deal breaker by any means for us . We will be back to this very hotel in a heart beat. Staff were all wonderful apart from one last serving breakfast the second day , but it was full that day, she’s had a hard morning bless her and it was 30 Degrees outside so not the best time to know someone’s true character. Thanks you kelvingrove . How hotels should be . Please don’t change

Great stay in the Kelvingrove Hotel! The location is excellent. The rooms are clean and cosy. Full nutritious and delicious hot breakfast everyday. The staff is always helpful and Joe is truly kind. The Kelvingrove Hotel starts feeling like home quite quickly. I would book again without hesitation!
