Very dirty! Smells bad, the furniture is old and looks terrible. Photo and reality don’t match 👎🏻

The hotel room was not cleaned properly the curtain would not close massive rip in the carpet
The bathroom was filthy shower 🚿 head was filthy tap on sink was dirty and shower mat was disgusting and Black not been cleaned in months

It served its purpose for an overnight as i was attending an event , the room was fine but whole decor of the hotel hasnt really been inproved in years and im taking about when it used to be called The Pond , without doubt the best thing is the guy at reception so helpfull and a great front of house person , i would use again as a last resort but would look elsewhere 1st

Standard hotel. We had an issue with house keeping coming into our room at 8:30 AM without announcing themselves. Close to a train station.

Have stayed in this hotel a number of times over the years, it is really handy as a break before a trip up the west coast.
We have not seen any improvements to the hotel - overall it is a bit tired, but is is reasonably cheap & the rooms are clean & tidy.

We booked a stay here for one night to take in a show at the Oran Mor in the west end of Glasgow. The hotel has an overall lived in appearance and could do with a spruce up. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very small but clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. The electronic lock on the door wouldn’t work properly and needed several attempts to allow it to open. The room was quite warm so we slept with the window open, that was until we were woken by the horrific smell of someone smoking ***** either from an adjacent room or outside accompanied by the shouting and screaming of drunks until the early hours. A very uncomfortable stay all in all.
