The hotel is close to the train station and subway station, and there are also concert halls and large shopping malls nearby. George Square, the Museum of Modern Art, etc. are within walking distance.
The hotel also gives discount coupons, which can be used at the hotel restaurant.
WiFi water heaters, etc. are consistent with the promotion.

The location and facilities offered are really great. The best value is the rooms with executives lounge access. Staff were all helpful and friendly and keen to assist in every way.

The location is great. Just a min or less walk from Glasgow Queens Street Station and the bunchhan Street Subway. Also quite near to the bus stop where we took the airport Express to the airport.
A basic and clean room with a complimentary mini bar. And is near to the shopping area.

We booked an afternoon tea at the Windows restaurant to celebrate a birthday and it was so disappointing. The food was completely different to the menu online - no rolls, no strawberry tarts, no egg mayo sandwiches etc. which was frustrating as I booked this because the menu suited our entire party. When the food was brought out there was 3 tiny triangle sandwiches per person and the filling looked like it had been wiped off there was only remnants left. The rest was cakes. The coffee was also terrible and cold. The only positive was the two lovely female staff members. However I think they shifts must of changed during our visit as their replacements were very avoidant and unfriendly. Would definitely avoid. So disappointing especially as this was a birthday gift

Stayed for two nights B&B. Booking our stay was straightforward using their web site. Check in was quick and easy receptionist welcoming. We were allocated room 207. The room was a bit tired looking, although did have a complimentary bar with wine, beer, vodka, gin, whiskey and soft drinks which was replenished daily. Breakfast was buffet style and ok, eggs cooked to order. Very limited Bar in the hotel which I would not have expected. Certainly, you could not get a better location it was so handy to the main shopping area’s, and next door to Queen Street station with George Square nearby.

Went to the Carlton George for a one-night stay after a day out in Glasgow. The front desk staff member, Amy, was so welcoming and friendly to all three of the guests, myself included, that I observed her checking in. My room was lovely...traditional, cosy, and spotless. The amenities are brilliant - complimentary and generous. I had room service that night and the food was great, quick service too. There's nothing more convenient if you're taking the train in and out of Glasgow, or if you're having a day out shopping, it's super easy to bring back your bags and get right back to it. We had drinks upstairs and enjoyed the open, airy atmosphere, and again, cosy and great service. It's not the newest or flashiest hotel, but it's comfortable and clean and welcoming.

Stayed 3 nights in a Club room. Definitely worth the upgrade with the executive lounge access. Room was average but bed was comfiest i have ever slept in! Free minibar was 1st class, topped up every day. Spirits in decanters was a nice touch! Good air con. Bathroom ok shower was bit basic. For a Club room the room itself was average size nothing special. Executive lounge access was excellent, cream tea on arrival, complimentary bar and snacks for 2.5 hours, just help yourself. Even continental breakfast in mornings if you like. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, unfortunately only one lift working during our stay. Location is superb, couldn't be anymore central to everything! Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again

Had a couple of days here and was ok. the complimentary in room bar was stalked daily. Breakfast was tasty, however, the plates were small. We were allocated a room on the second floor, a disabled room which was not an issue and the air con was a bonus.

We upgraded to a balcony room with lounge access and it was amazing. The location is so close to shopping, dining and public transportation. The in room complimentary amenities were unreal. The evening (Amy) and morning front desk staff were so amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner at hotel restaurant because we were too tired to explore and it was not only affordable but delicious.
