Wonderful night was spent here. Excellent value, with the mini bar and access to the Executive Lounge included in our rate. Very helpful to be able to check in slightly early, it was an easy and quick process. Polite and friendly staff. We’ll definately be back.

The hotel is close to the train station and subway station, and there are also concert halls and large shopping malls nearby. George Square, the Museum of Modern Art, etc. are within walking distance.
The hotel also gives discount coupons, which can be used at the hotel restaurant.
WiFi water heaters, etc. are consistent with the promotion.

The location and facilities offered are really great. The best value is the rooms with executives lounge access. Staff were all helpful and friendly and keen to assist in every way.

The location is great. Just a min or less walk from Glasgow Queens Street Station and the bunchhan Street Subway. Also quite near to the bus stop where we took the airport Express to the airport.
A basic and clean room with a complimentary mini bar. And is near to the shopping area.

Outdated like from the ‘70s. Right above drunken pub crawl noise all night long. Glasgow’s a gross enough city without staying here too

We stayed at the Carlton George last night. The room was dated and in need of some upgrades (no socket next to bed for charging phone, dark tartan dated decor, poor quality hairdryer missing the filter cover at the back so my hair got caught in it!). We regularly stay at 4* + hotels but this trip didn’t even feel worthy of 3*. Two bath towels, no towel for hair, no face clothes and the hotel supplied toiletries all had faulty pumps. We came in late following a wedding and were woken up at 8am on a Sunday morning by roadworks right outside our room. Room 211 faces directly on to the busiest street where Glasgow Council are currently implementing pavement/George Square upgrades. Had I realised this, I would never have booked this hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it would have been good to have been allocated a room at the rear of the hotel or have been notified of these works somewhere on their website. The staff were friendly enough but this room just didn’t feel worth what we paid. Disappointing as great location but I won’t be returning until some serious upgrades are implemented.

We stayed last weekend in a Club room with lounge access for my 47th Birthday. Cannot fault the friendly staff, the service or the room. We had a fab night away and cant wait to come back. We visited the lounge and had the cream tea then booked a couple of hours in the lounge at night. Absolutely nothing negative to report, we loved our experience. See you again soon. R&A

A hotel we visit often when going to concerts or a night out in Glasgow. Very reasonably priced, a very peaceful sleep and added bonus of the complimentary mini bar. My only niggle was the pillows being flat and uncomfortable. Staff were fantastic as always. Cant wait to visit again.
