Travelodge Glasgow Central

We had a very pleasant stay our room clean quiet and breakfast was excellent nice choice and cooked well. Staff was very friendly and helpful Check in was simple and quick . Hotel throught out was very clean inside and outside would definitely stay again

This hotel was perfect for me. I needed to be near the railway stations so its location was ideal. Very little noise from outside or inside and the quality of my standard plus room was second to none. If I am ever in the area I am likely to stay here again.

Hotel feels a bit basic and ‘down at the heel’ even for a budget option. It’s definitely in need of a serious makeover. We stayed only one night to attend a concert nearby so we didn’t want to spend a lot for a place just to rest our heads. That was a mistake. The bed was clean enough but mattress awful, with a hard seam around it and a dip in the middle that we kept rolling into. The bathroom grouting was grotty and I hated the smell of the cheap soap in the dispenser. At least the towels were ok and there was loads of hot water. We had paid the extra £10 for breakfast but I wouldn’t recommend. There’s plenty of alternative options close by. The coffee was lousy and not much attention given to refreshing platters of food that had run out. George, the night bar man was pleasant and helpful at the bar but he couldn’t help us with the vending mention that’s supposed to sell soft drinks, water and snacks (no snacks available at the bar). It was ‘all out’ of everything we tried to buy. If a machine is all you can offer, is it too much to ask to keep it replenished?
