Booked for 4 nights Wednesday to Sunday. Was impressed with all the communication leading up to the stay and all information provided. The week before had to give them a £100 deposit which they hold on your card if there is any damages. The day of arrival received a txt with the key box number for outside the lodge and that was the check in process reply to say u have arrived. The drive there was not for me too long on small back roads which I would have hated even more had it been dark or bad weather. The lodge itself was fairly big (a bit outdated decor wise) we stayed in turnberry 39. It had an upstairs and a downstairs. 2 double bedrooms one with just a toilet and one with full shower en-suite. The main bathroom had a shower and bath. All towels were provided and bed linen. There was also a small kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster and dishwasher. The living room had two sofa bed couches which were most uncomfortable to sit on. There was also a dining room table and a veranda with outside table and chairs. The showers had no power to them at all and took an eternity to wash the soap out my hair. The other downfall is there is only one car parking space at the lodge. They provided a cot and high chair free of charge. U do have to take your own mattress for the cot though. The amenities and location. Having stayed in Ayrshire a few times before I was looking forward to the nice coastal drives and little towns. We went to Ayr and prestwick both worth a visit plenty of places to eat and a few shops. Girvan was a major disappointment. Really nothing in it a few cafes. We actually ate in graziano’s fish and chips and it was very greasy and all overcooked batter was like chewing a brick. There was a Asda in Girvan which was the only good thing. There is also a Morrisons daily at the bottom of the road from the lodges which is handy. There is no take aways or restaurants in dailly. The welcome pack gave suggestions of take aways that do delivery and thank god for that or we would have been really struggling driving to these places in the dark. We tried the 88 Chinese in Girvan and it was absolutely lovely and very cheap would highly recommend that. We also tried Girvan Pizzeria numerous items a munchies box, chicken kebab, burger and chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were like cardboard and the kids refused to eat them. The chicken was so tough even a chain saw wouldn’t get through it, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The amenities on site there was a pool with a baby pool (both freezing) no lifeguard so if u have kids u will have to go in with them. There was a sauna but can’t comment on that as we tried to use it twice and twice it wasn’t working. We did play pool £50p a game and table tennis (pay a deposit of £5 for both). You can get coffee and tea and some soft drinks, cakes, panini’s and some sweets all reasonably priced. You can also pay a donation and get some dvds from reception

Stayed in Arran lodge which was a lovely and spotlessly clean lodge with hot tub. Welcome pack supplied in kitchen and toiletries in bathroom. Bathrobes, slippers and towels also supplied. Quiet park, but well kept. This was our second stay and will not be our last.

Lodge was spacious and spotless. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were will equipped and had fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc. Front desk girls were lovely and very helpful . Our only negative comment was the pool was freezing cold and our TV didn't work however we were there during a storm and it didn't affect us. Family time was perfect and our small children had the best time. Our 2nd visit to Brunston and I'm sure we will be back.

I really enjoyed my time spent at Brunston Castle in the Arran Lodge. Beautiful lodge with good fixtures & fittings. Accommodation was spotless, the WiFi was great & I made the most of having a hot tub. Check-in was easy as I was sent my lodge number & the key code before I arrived. Clean & tranquil Park with a pool, gym, small cafe, friendly reception staff & a lovely seating area in the main reception too. The road could be smoother in places but other than that I couldn't fault it.

Visited together with a family of eight. Excellent accomodation, friendly and helpful staff, multiple activities for the children and teens available, the swimming pool was warm and clean, beautiful and calming surroundings. Would recommend.

A peaceful comfortable resort with pool, sauna, gym, pool table, table tennis & guest lounge for drinks, snacks & takeaway pizza. Fish & chip van visits on Tuesday & Wednesday. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely tablet for cash sale. Lodges built on side of a hill. Lots to visit and see around

We visited Brunston Castle as a family to celebrate a birthday & had 2 lodges. They were beautiful and very spacious, and they had everything you needed for a break away. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and nothing was a problem. The facilities on site were great too. We visited the bar area once we were checked in where the boys made use of pool table & the kids went swimming. We also ordered pizzas to take away & have in the lodges one evening. We simply phoned from the lodge to order & went down and collected them. At the entrance to Brunston Castle, there is a Morrisons store that you can pop along to if you need anything, which was quite handy. There are lots of places nearby to visit too & we travelled the short distance to Maybole and Girvan on different evenings for dinner.

Beautiful Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!
