Mango Dive & Bungalow

I had not dived for a few years and was made to take a refresher course before they would let me dive even though I have been qualified for decades. The refresher course was basic but it was good to run through things I had long forgotten (and never really needed). The actual dive was amazing and the dive master Ana was a pleasure to dive with. Would highly recommend them as a well run compliant dive school with reliable equipment.

Several things stand out as why this was such a great week. First, the entire staff was friendly, courteous and very willing help any way possible. I was finding Gili T confusing and they were there to answer all my silly questions. I took advantage of the dive school to earn my Basic Diver certification. Diving was a little scary and my instructors both provided exactly the encouragement I needed to make it through each step of the process. Sebastian was my instructor day one. I really appreciated how he paid attention to both verbal and non-verbal indications that I needed reassurance. With his help, I quickly overcame the fear and was able to enjoy the training and the first dive. On the second day, Victor was exactly the right person for my training. The two instructors took the time to communicate my progress and what I needed to work on so that Day 2 progressed seamlessly. The entire experience was exhilarating and felt very safe because of the kindness and expertise of these instructors. Snorkeling was just a 2-minute walk from my room. I saw turtles every day along the shore between Mango and Turtle Point. Lastly, I was super happy that my standard room was quiet, nice air-conditioned and very comfortable. The unheated shower was not a problem as the weather provided all the heat I wanted.

Nice people who works there. But the breakfast was unfortunately poor. Not well cooked pancakes, unfresh fruits and old bread. I recommend this place for everyone but don’t take breakfast. The place is in front of the beach, there you find turtles. What i love that the place is near everything but you don’t hear the parties in your room.

Had a wonderful time, friendly staff and pleasant clean rooms, loved the outside bathroom and shower. Pleasant night sleep not noisy away from main area. Plunge pool refreshing, beach access and loungers. We went on two snorkelling trips highly recommend staying there

Good accommodation with a brilliant vibe. We returned here after visiting 2 years ago and still love it. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Clean room with very cool outdoor bathroom. Right on the beach with private (free!) beach loungers and towels.
