We stayed here with friends for a couple of nights to explore the island. Firstly, it is unrealistic to walk from the pier to the hotel, especially with bags, it is wildly hot and the hotel is located in the depths of the island in a completely godforsaken area, nearby there is only a forest and many cows and various animals. My advice for those who have booked a hotel: rent a bike from the pier, they are rented at every step for 50,000 rupees, and then get on the bike, turn on the navigator and go to the hotel. This will be the best decision possible. The hotel itself has 5 bungalows, a small area, a swimming pool and a place where the employee cooks. The bungalows themselves are already quite tired, this is from the expectation-reality series, the SOS situation with the bed linen, it is very dirty, it is unpleasant to lie down on it, and it seems that no one cares. An open toilet is an interesting idea in general, but you need to get used to it, I mean the open space around. But it is impossible to be in the toilet from the moment the sun rises, and it rises exactly on the side where the toilet is. The toilet heats up so much that you can’t even sit on it, and if you do, you will be boiled in a minute like a chicken in broth. The roof of the bungalow is thatched, it doesn’t seem to leak from the rain, but in my bungalow the whole bed was strewn with scraps of this roof when there was any wind. Also, my bungalow didn’t have a hammock. The hotel territory itself is authentic, like in the pictures on Pinterest. But the hotel needs renovation, and it is also worth making some kind of shelter in the toilet to protect the toilet from the sun. The staff, represented by one guy Andrew (there is no one else except him), was friendly, he cooked us breakfast and helped with the repair of electricity. By the way, be prepared that the electricity in the bungalow does not withstand the voltage, you will have to turn on one thing, for example, if you need to dry your hair with a hair dryer (which you should take with you, because there is none there), first turn off the air conditioner, turning on two devices will immediately turn off your electricity.
