Very quiet due to situation of motel, close to dining options places of interest Cactus garden local museum and various shops.

It is a great motel to stay in with a good size room and bathroom, very clean, friendly and helpful manager and family and the gardens were well kept and very inviting. The beds were comfortable, which is always a must for me. I would thoroughly recommend a stopover.

Lovely place to stay. So clean and friendly, lovely clean bathroom and great bed. Lovely lady too. It’s just fantastic when you find a good country motel and can have a wonderful sleep thank you. Very close to town and the Service club which has great meals.

Overall a comfortable and practical place to stay. Not too big, friendly staff, and Rambo (the guard dachshund) was friendly too. Even though we were not far from the main road, it was a pretty quiet night, and a comfortable bed. And this place is within walking distance of the visitors centre and the local museum.

Desperate to find a bed in Gilgandra we came across the Cooee. Best thing this trip so far. Neat building set in fabulous gardens. The room is spacious, clean and modern. We ordered tea in house because we were buggered and 20 mins huge tra arrived6 different vegetables and a huge pork chop! Delicious just the way I like it. Highly recommend this motel to any travellers and it’s only $95 a night. Bargain!!!

5/5, pleasant Very Clean, quiet, and a little touch of the past. For the price, great value. Easy access from the highway, nice gardens to use & BBQ area if required. And this cute little Ducsh dog (and knows it) given the opportunity we would or will stay again.
