Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels in Gero

The service is very good. However, the facilities are old, the room number setting is not scientific, it is very troublesome to find the room every time, the sound insulation is very poor, the sound of the neighbors walking is very clear, the air conditioning is not good, there is no central air conditioning, and the corridor is very cold. The hot spring is very good and worth soaking.

This was my first time using this hotel, but it was non-union so I took the train to the site. I had booked a shuttle bus from Gero Station so they took me to the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Dinner and breakfast were served as a buffet. Even though it was a weekday, there were a lot of guests and dinner reservations could only be made at 5pm or 8pm. When eating, everyone was greedy as if they were fighting for food, which was a shame, but there won't be another time! There was an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna. It's a popular hotel so it's good if you're concerned about price.

The hotel facilities are relatively new, but the service is very poor. There are no bags or handbaskets for bathing and towels in the room, and there are no disposable socks. The food is not fresh, the fruit is actually frozen, and the hotel is not located in the hot spring street. I booked this hotel to try my luck because I couldn't book anything else. It's not ideal, and the price is not cheap. It costs more than 3,000 per night for two people.
