湯屋温泉にある温泉旅館。外観や廊下、部屋は古びた感じですが、食堂はとてもきれいです。含二酸化炭素の冷鉱泉の源泉浴槽と加温浴槽があり、床が析出物でコテコテになっています。成分濃度の濃さを物語っています。源泉浴槽からは源泉がゴボゴボ湧き出てます。特筆すべきは料理のレベルの高さで、このクラスの並の旅館をはるかに上回っています。夕食にはイワナの骨酒、そば豆腐、そばがき、ざる蕎麦がでてきて驚きました。料理は一品づつ提供され、できたてが味わえます。朝食も温泉粥、温泉豆腐、ますの開きがでてきました。温泉のよさは知っていましたが、料理のよさは期待を超えていました。

建物全体からカビの臭い、廊下は数カ所猫の尿？の様な臭い。部屋は窓側がカーペットで質感が悪くぞわぞわした。布団は、シーツは毎回替えていそうだが中身は洗ってなさそうで黄ばみ等が凄かった。 温泉は天井からの滴りが凄く最悪。湯船は1つだけで湯加減はぬるく全く楽しくない。季節のせいかガラスは曇りが凄く景色は楽しめない。だが温泉宿で風呂場で景色が楽しめないのは致命的。 料理とお酒はとても美味しいが、リピートは絶対無い。
