There is no shuttle bus at the location, but it takes more than ten minutes to walk from the JR station. If the luggage is not heavy, it is not too far. The hotel is beautiful, with a souvenir shop at the entrance and a hot spring pool for footbaths. On the seventh floor are separate hot spring pools for men and women, with an open-air pool. The male soup faces the direction of the station and you can see different scenery in the morning and evening. The female hot spring bath has great privacy, but no scenery. It seems that you can book private bathing for men and women, but we didn't have time to try it this time. The room is large and you can choose to make the bed. It's no problem for four people, but this time it was just my girlfriend and me. The view of the creek outside the room is particularly beautiful at night, but it is very light in the morning. It is recommended to bring your own eye mask to sleep late. There was a special event on Saturday, with many performances and stalls, and it was very atmospheric. Finally, there are meals, breakfast and dinner are not to be missed and can be enjoyed at a few designated times. We stayed for two nights and had different menus for both days. The dishes include the signature Hida beef and fish sashimi, but the cooking methods are different. It was very enjoyable. It is recommended that you do not need to change hotels for two nights.
