A bit hassle when you try to go in but you need someone to open the door. Try to ring for check in but need to wait for 10min for someone to open the door. After check in, didnt give the access card because you need to stay more than 1 day to get the access card. Then want to going in at night still need to wait for someone to open the door. Waste of time. The place is pretty though but the service meh and you will need to put rm100 deposit in cash.

The overall feeling is good, the location is convenient, the room is classical, and the decoration is more stylish, which generally meets expectations. However, it is not suitable for the old and the young. The rooms are all on the second floor. You have to carry your luggage by yourself, and the stairs are relatively high. In addition, the bathroom is separate from the room. Although it is guaranteed that there is a special room for each room, you may bump into others when you go in and out, so you must be mentally prepared for this. Taking pictures is very photogenic

Nice environment
It's walking to many nice food. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Should be nice and peaceful during off peak, it's probably more noisy if all rooms are taken up as the place is mostly wood, so walking around will create some noise.
Overall, Im very happy staying at Kelantan House.

Beautiful house - must stay place in Georgetown
Super clean and a beautiful heritage house. Our room was very comfortable and even though the bathroom was outside the room we didn’t mind as this was such a great chance to stay somewhere special and unique. Complementary water, coffees and snacks were a nice addition.

This hotel is good for those who want to feel the atmosphere of the life in the old shophouse.
I felt like I’m having a home stay.
The location is not convenient to access to the historical sightseeing area, but you can use Grab.

George Town is a culturally and historically rich place, and staying in Kelantan House offers you the opportunity to experience what life was like in Penang in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The location is also quiet even if it's right in the middle of the city. Will definitely stay here again.
