We booked this guest house for a trail race we were doing in George. Beautiful room, super warm host (Desi), who checked in on us, but was not over-bearing. All the comforts of home, but the luxury of being away and the most beautiful grounds that provided serenity and quiet that complemented this long weekend away perfectly. I will definitely be back next year!

This is a little jewel, the room was absolutely beautiful with a cozy big bed, nice clean bedding and a heating pad covering the whole bed. Everything you need is in the room - TV, fridge, Coffee, Tea and a nice bathroom. And on top of that there’s a garden with furniture outside your door just for you. The breakfast was excellent and the manager very friendly and service minded. I really recommend Burrough Place and the price is very moderate for such a beautiful room.

What a lovely neat modern and clean gem I had the privilege of staying at. Dessie Linda and Pam are so friendly kind and helpful which made my solo stay even more comfortable. Thank you, Burrough Place, we'll be back to enjoy your family suite.
