- the hotel is in the city center - near plaza surabaya - not very big hotel but modern aesthetic - the lobby is spacious, lots of sofas and tables, there is a cafe - the hallways are clean and the carpets are thick - the room is not very spacious but aesthetic - there is a big smart tv - there is a relaxing sofa - the bed is soft, lots of pillows, thick blankets - great view - the windows are big - standard tea, coffee, sugar and creamer - there is an electric kettle - there is a blend of Surabaya city and prayer times - the bathroom and toilet are a bit cramped - there is a sink and many and thick towels - complete amenities - there is a bath robe, a pair of sandals, a safety box, but no iron - the wardrobe is big and lots of drawers - the gym is a bit small - indoor pool is not very big but aesthetic - the restaurant is spacious, the food is plentiful and delicious

Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

It was my first experience to stay at Ibis Hotel Besuki Rahmat... The hotel located in the centre of Surabaya, near to Tunjungan Plaza Mall and besides the hotel there was an convenient store.. So if you hungry at night you can go diretly to the store.. The Hotel staff also very helpfull and nice to the guest.. For the room also clean and quite big.. There was food court also behind the hotel which is sell a lot of food and traditional food.. One of best hotel in Surabaya... Good jod team..

I found this hotel to be great for a budget traveler like me. I booked it through agoda.com for a discounted price. I stayed two nights which was a good experience. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is strategic because I could get access to public transportation right in front and to food vendors when I was hungry. The facilities like lifts, toilets, etc in the hotel are excellent. Room's space is good and comfortable. The only non-positive comments from me are: no breakfast included because of the discounted price. I had to pay extra Rp50,000 for a small plate of fried rice and two slices of bread and a cup of coffee. I could get better offer with that 50,000 outside the hotel. Anyway, no big deal. I can further say that for one person only. I also saw women's hair underneath the bed. I guess they have not cleaned the room properly yet. Overall, the experience is good. I still recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The hotel is good. Friendly service When you first enter, it seems a bit dirty. Because the officers are clean. But it turns out the room was beyond expectations. Spacious rooms. Very broad in fact. Cheap price. Delicious food. Two days of staying, the menu has changed. Near the center of action. So it's nice to go anywhere. Looks like it will be a reference hotel in the future if you go to Surabaya. Maybe the towels need to be replaced. Looks like it's time to retire. Others are very good.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights after arriving in Surabaya from Banyuwangi by train. It's located directly beside the river, just five minutes' walk from the station and also very close to the Plaza Surabaya shopping mall. The hotel is comfortable and modern. There are a few issues, namely low water pressure, inconsistent WiFi and a very local-oriented breakfast (think fried rice and sate rather than eggs and hash browns). But the bed was great and the view from the top floor is worth a look. If you're taking the train either in or out of Surabaya - or if you like a good rooftop pool - then this hotel is a good option.

Amazing for a budget hotel. Stayed here only for resting after a Bromo trip. Toilet is nice, room is small but very functional. Breakfast is superb I really love the arrangement and the varieties of food. Recommended

we stayed here for 1 night, the location of the hotel is very strategic because it is opposite to one of the biggest malls, Tunjungan Plaza is also next to a fast food restaurant so you don't have to be confused when we are hungry at night we arrive around At 18.30 WIB and the parking door are blocked by a regular hotel event at night there is a kind of slope on the terrace of the hotel, and then our vehicle was parked in the vallet by the staff. The check-in process went quickly and we were helped to get it. Double bed room according to our request, even through the application, only large twin room, the room is according to the hotel grade, a budget business hotel, not very big indeed for the size of a double bed even to pray in our room is enough the trouble towels still feel musty and since the shower is not closed/no door/doors with toilet,then water will splash everywhere after shower,a bit careful as it will slippery non smoking room but still a bit feel less smell comfortable

room is cozy and clean the foods are delicious the service is excellent, every employee always give a warm smile everytime we passed by the only downside for me is for the prayer room on 2nd floor i hope they will improve the cleanliness for this room especially the wudhu space which is basically more of a bathroom rather than an actual wudhu space overall it was a nice stay

I stayed in Heritage studio room 58. The ambience of hotel gives you a feeling like you are Royalty and stay in this Heritage hotel with a history of Indonesia’s freedom era takes you back to the old times. It’s better to stay in Hotels like these which are historic yet have every modern gadgets in the rooms. It’s an experience which can’t be described in words. The Garden outside your rooms and a tea/ coffee in morning sitting in the bench in Garden makes life pause. There are many hotels in the vicinity but they are all standard hotels like Double Tree, Four Points Sheraton which are Urban new age hotels but very corporate types. It’s ok to break out sometime to explore hidden gems like these. Coming to Surabaya and not staying in Hotel Majapahit is a crime. Smooth check in and check out process. Very courteous house keeping staff, concierge and reception. From the maintenance standpoint doesn’t look a bit like it’s 100+ years old construction. Maintained so well and the furniture in the room gives you the vibes of history yet are so artistic. Do explore this extra ordinary Hotel in middle of a bustling street. A stroll in the night will boost up your mood. 100% staying in this hotel again whenever I come to Surabaya.
