Een geweldig hotel in een prachtig stadje. Alles is goed aan het hotel: heel vriendelijk personeel, fantastisch ontbijt erg sfeervolle inrichting. Voor ons echt een plek om naar uit te kijken! Hopelijk volgend jaar weer! 😃

Respektlos, unprofessionell und völlig daneben! Und so bin ich auf Eure Seite um mir das mal durch zu lesen. Kurz sehe ich da beschrieben wer Ihr seid und welche Positionen zu vergeben sind. Respektlos und beleidigend die Bezeichnung Kellner, nach 44 Jahren könnte man die „neue“ und richtige Berufsbezeichnung langsam begriffen haben. Ewig Gestrige? Dann suche ich was Ihr so zu bieten habt. Ich suche! Und Suche! Und Suche! Nichts, Ihr habt nichts, aber auch wirklich nichts zu bieten. Unbefristetes Arbeitsverhältnis? Übertariflicher Lohn? Einhalten des Manteltarifvertrages? 30 Tage Urlaub? Nichts, absolut nichts. Aber, sehr sehr viele Stellen, das ist schon im Kontext verdächtig. Am besten es wird erstmal die Geschäftsleitung vor die Tür gesetzt, dann wird es vielleicht auch mit dem Rest. Hier sich bewerben? Dann VORHER in der Gewerkschaft eintreten „NGG“ und schon den Vertrag „VOR“ dem Unterzeichnen dort prüfen lassen.

Spent five nights here in Sept during a road trip from Scotland to Germany (Mosel valley, Black Forest, Rhine valley). Great stay, right in the centre of Gengenbach (which is beautiful) with a very comfortable, well appointed room with amazing views over the town and to the hills beyond. Very warm welcome from everyone in the team (all very patient when helping us with our limited German). Didn't manage any evening meals in the hotel (or to use the leisure facilities - too busy exploring - Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Gengenbach etc) but breakfast each morning was amazing. Limited (paid) parking outside the hotel with the hotel's underground car park two minutes walk away (took some initial negotiating - see picture - but the staff provided assistance for the 'hard of understanding' 😊). Staff also very helpful when we requested a 'Konus' pass (which entitles visitors to free rail travel throughout the Black Forest area - Gengenbach rail station is a two minute walk from hotel). All-in-all an excellent experience and would definitely stay again.

Wunderschöne Stadt, tolles Hotel, sehr gut gegessen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Personal nett, kompetent und zuvorkommend. Im Hotel alle was es braucht: schönes Zimmer, nette Bar, sensationelles Frühstück und das Gourmetrestaurant lässt keine Wünsche offen

So wohl haben wir uns in einem Hotel noch nie gefühlt! Ganz kurzfristig haben wir ein Arrangement gebucht, sind noch am gleichen Abend für 2 Nächte angereist. Der Inhaber Herr Hummel hat uns persönlich und äußerst herzlich empfangen und auf das Begrüßungsgetränk in der Lounge eingeladen. Das Hotel mit Innenhof, Bar, Kamin-Lounge, Restaurant und Spa ist stylisch und dabei total gemütlich. Unser Zimmer war großzügig und schön, das Menü hervorragend, tolle regionale Weinkarte, Champagner-Auswahl (!), sehr gute Bar-Karte inkl. Cocktails. Das Highlight war die Freundlichkeit des ganzen Personal-Team und ein unglaublich reichhaltiges und hochwertiges Frühstücksbuffet - alles in Verbindung mit der liebevollen Gestaltung der Räumlichkeiten. Einzigartig! Und das alles in historischem Ambiente und nur wenige Schritte zur Altstadt von Gengenbach mit viel Fachwerk, Geschäften, Cafés und Restaurants. Wir kommen wieder, garantiert!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen inmitten der historischen Altstadt. Beim Empfang wurde uns ein Parkplatz weiter entfernt empfohlen. Zum Glück war gerade Wochenende und wir mussten nur für Sonntag ein Tagesticket lösen. ( öffentliche PP) Das Gepäck mussten wir selbst zum Zimmer bringen. Leider hatte es keine Badeschlappen und kein Telefon im Zimmer. Man muss also Barfuss über den Flur und Lift zur Wellnessbereich gelangen. Die Wellnessanlage ist hübsch und gepflegt. Leider hatte es am Sonntag keinen Wasserspender so dass man selber Wasser zum trinken mitbringen muss. Naja der Service lässt leider sehr zu wünschen übrig…. Für 4 Sterne ein no Go.

Good hotel with comfortable rooms (some have terrace, coffee machine, large bathroom). Breakfast buffet is good. We had diner as well in their restaurant and was very nice. Parking place are not easy in the area if you have a bigger car. Some rooms don’t have air conditioning… so can be very warm in the room. Staff is ok but not very friendly… typical Dutch hospitality…

Versteckt in der Gengenbacher Altstadt liegt dieses traumhafte familiengeführte Hotel. Wunderschöne Zimmer, ein Aussenpool, Sauna, ein Restaurant mit exquisiter Karte, ein mediterraner Gartenbereich... wir verbrachte hier ein Wochenende das der Entspannung nach einer ganzen Woche entsprach.
