We got a much worse room than it looked in the pictures. It was one apartment converted into two smaller ones, with very thin walls. This unfortunately worsened the overall impression of these apartments :(

We did not expect to receive an apartment in such poor condition with broken furniture, a malfunctioning refrigerator, broken kitchen cabinet doors, an unclean apartment with no air conditioning, no possibility of opening a window without the apartment being filled with mosquitoes and flies, poor service at the hotel where you check in, disdain and failure to respond. we are not recomending on this hotel apartments

The Grano Apartments in Gdansk were a 3 out of 5 stay, I think it’s best to give some positives and negatives and some context, Myself and my partner came to stay for 3 nights in June. The positives: - the staff were lovely; very hospitable, friendly and eager to help - the pool access: we liked the pool access, it was nice to be able to unwind a little in the evenings, though I appreciate some people would find the number of families at the pool a bit annoying. - the location: the location is super, maybe a 5-10 minute walk into the old town and ideally placed near the river. The negatives: - the room/apartment: this was the main negative but unfortunately is the main thing being reviewed. The apartment was very under-equipped, the kitchen had very little useful (no chopping board, no oil, no salt). The shower door was broken so any shower resulted in a flood. The balcony door could be locked accidentally but couldn’t be opened without assistance from the staff. I could go on. Ultimately, for the price and for a few days it’s a decent enough stay however if we were going to go again we wouldn’t stay there. Furthermore if one wanted to use the apartments as a self catered apartment (to cook for example) they would not have the required equipment.

Unfortunately the apartment I stayed in was infested with silverfish the size of cockroaches which are absolutely everywhere (not just in the bathroom). Found them in the kitchen cupboards, crawling up walls in the living/sleeping area - disgusting. Left a complaint with receptionist at checkout but haven’t heard back since. Besides that, when I went to the "spa" it had the charm of a public swimming pool, overcrowded with a lot of children playing very loudly and there could have been more towels in the room. All very disappointing.

Vi bodde i 1 rumslägenhet med balkong med utsikt mot floden, trevligt. Snabb incheckning och vi fick tillgång till lägenheten direkt. Bäddsoffan var mycket sliten,trasig i ryggkuddarna,nedlegad och stenhård, sängen i sovrummet var mjuk och skön ,dock så var även den nedlegad, badrumsdörren var fuktskadad så färgen hade släppt. För övrigt ett rent och trivsamt boende som ligger vid floden. Nära till gamla stan och till buss och spårvagn. Fint att gå utmed med floden till gamla stan. Området kändes tryggt och säkert.

Good stay.
All good, but the kitchen have no fan so don't plan to cook much! Missing extra pillows. Pool use is for an hour each day, with an extra plus for warm water...
