We stayed for 3 nights while exploring the town and the surrounding area. The hotel is well-positioned, 5- 10 minutes walk from the train station, and a similar distance from the old town, with restaurants and bars, in the other direction. There are great views of the mountains all around. We had a ‘superior’ room, looking out towards the front of the hotel. It was a large and comfortable room, with a good bed, and a settee. The bathroom was well-equipped with twin washbasins and an excellent shower. The buffet breakfast was really good with a wide choice available. For dinner, whichever dining room you are in, there are three menus available, with set prices for three courses. In practice, this is more flexible than it appears, as you can mix and match across the menus, just have one or two courses, or share a course. All the food was of high quality. Service at the hotel was friendly and helpful throughout.
