We visited for a week in June 2024. The hotel is traditional/dated but served us well. The room was super spacious and had a triple wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was also large. The balcony could do with some renovation as it looked a bit shabby but we didn’t use it anyway with being out for long days exploring so it did not matter to us. The hotel is situated in an ideal location, a 5 minute walk from the bus station. We found we used the buses more than the ferry from Garda as they were more frequent and went to more areas than the ferry route from Garda did. The hotel staff are very friendly and the staff in reception often gave us travel tips and advice. Breakfast had plenty of selection and seating. You could sit outside but strangely we were not allowed to sit on the tables on the grass which was a shame as it looked beautiful and peaceful. Maybe it was because it had rained a lot recently and would spoil the grass. There are many great lake front restaurants and bars near by but far enough way for it to be quiet at night time. The lake front is just stunning! There is also a market outside of the hotel on certain days. The transfer is about 30-40 minutes from the airport. We enjoyed visits to Bardolino (walked from the hotel), Sirmione, Limone, Lasize, Pescheria, Verona, Venice, the Dolomites and more. The hotel is basic but this is reflected in the price. It had everything we needed and was in the perfect location. Thank you for such a lovely stay during our first time (and not last!) time in Italy!
