Regina Adelaide Hotel & Spa

We had a lovely time at Lake Garda and the town of Garda itself. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the food is out of this world with plenty of lovely restaurants to enjoy. We booked the Regina Adelaide Hotel on a B&B basis - room 512, This was a separate building adjacent to the main hotel. The room was sizeable and we upgraded as it was a special occasion for us. At this point I would inform future guests about the construction going on there. The noise from drilling and hammering was significant, we didn't see the scaffolding as it was late evening when we arrived. Work started early in the morning and continued past 8 p.m., on occasion despite the hotel's assurances it wouldn't. If you're planning to relax and want peaceful enjoyment this room and building is definitely not the best choice. In short, while the general location and food were amazing, the construction issue was a major downside. I highly recommend asking about room allocation prior to booking.

Love this place. Hotel is perfectly situated for bars and restaurants on the lake. Close to the bus stop for excursions if you desire. We did a Venice trip and southern lakes tour. Both recommended. Great food, staff and service. Really friendly and helpful. We had 4 massages between us at the hotel and one of the best I have ever had. The outdoor pool is refreshing! Spa area downstairs is immaculate with plunge pools and saunas if the weather packs up. You can hear people in other rooms but we just wore ear plugs (we are sensitive to sound). Overall a great stay.

We’ve been here too many times to count, it just ticks every box for us. All staff are friendly & helpful in all areas. Comfy, spotless, beautiful rooms. Breakfast plentiful with multiple choices delicious pastries & freshly cooked dishes. We book half board as the food is incredible and didn’t disappoint this year. The pool and pool area is so relaxing. Indoor spa is quiet and relaxing. I had an ant stress massage which was great. Hotel a 2 minute walk from the lake,and town. Close to the bus station, small supermarket & ferries. Easy to get wherever you need to go. We walked to the next town (about 40 minutes along the lakeside) we book with TUI but many book directly. Definitely a 5* destination for us.

Hotel is exceptionally well run & luxurious. Staff are outstanding; from reception ( thank you Serene & colleagues) to bar, restaurant & housekeeping staff. Gourmet restaurant under Elias' supervision amazing. Facilities in both outdoor & indoor pools wonderful, as is the spa. Thank you all and see you again very soon!

We returned home today from a fortnight at this hotel. First the positives :- Set back from the lake in the quiet end of Garda town, which suited us but close enough to all that Garda had to offer. Very pleased we decided to stay at this resort. the staff are very friendly and hardworking We loved the pool area too. However, im not a lover of dark wood furniture or period hotels, but my partner is and loved it. I prefer modern though, light and airy! We found the food at breakfast to be very repetitive and were disappointed not to have oatmeal/porridge on there which is a staple for us at home, plus my partner needs it with his diabetes for slow release energy. Its always been on the menu when i have stayed abroad before, but maybe its not an italian thing. Whilst the pool area was lovely, we have both come home with backaches and neck aches as there is no padding on the sunbeds, surprising for a calibre of hotel like this. Lastly, a word of warning for any ladies who are thinking of booking an anti stress massage. You won't be required to fill in a health questionairre which i have always done for numerous massages before, plus it turned into more of an intimate massage than i was expecting, for which my consent should have been sought. Lets just say, that i have never had my chest area exposed before while laying on my back and then promptly massaged. Im no prude, but it took me by surprise and just wanted to warn other ladies who might be uncomfortable with it! I raised the issue with the hotel via their exit questionairre Finally a special shout out to Alberto the bar man who served us most nights

Just returned from our 2nd trip to this lovely hotel & already booked to return next year. Lovely big room large balcony, huge comfy bed, good food, all areas spotlessly clean. Rooms cleaned daily & evening turn down service. Large pool plenty of sunbeds any time of day. Just minutes walk to local shops, bus station, ferry terminal & the lake with many restaurants. Many thanks to Sara & Natascia on reception & all the great staff very polite, cheerful & willing to help with any request. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.
