Hotel Eden Garda

The rooms offer comfort, modern amenities, and great views. Guests appreciate the friendly, multilingual staff and the consistently high cleanliness standards. Small balconies provide an enjoyable space.

We stayed here for 10 nights as a couple. The room was perfect with a large bed which was comfortable to sleep in. Large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Safe for valuables in the wardrobe. TV with 4 English Channels(BBC 1 and 2, ITV and ITV 2). Air conditioning. Tea and Coffee. Small mini bar. The room was cleaned everyday and was spotlessly clean. The location is a bit up the hill from Garda and the lake. About a 15 minute walk down to the town, seems a long way back after a long day! There is a shuttle bus but we didn't use it. The reception, restaurant and cleaning staff were all pleasant and helpful. There is a swimming pool on the ground floor and a large hot tub on the roof, plenty of loungers around both.There is a view of the lake from the roof and the rooms on the 2nd floor upwards that face that way. The breakfast was buffet style, coffee machine, usually scrambled eggs, boiled eggs. bacon, pancakes and one hot vegetable. There were pastries, fruit, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts and cold meats. This was nice. Dinner is chosen from the menu that was delivered to your room the previous evening and ordered at breakfast. Usually vegetable/salad buffet every evening, a starter, 2 main courses and a pudding chosen after eating the other courses. Some evenings there were limited vegetarian choices in the main courses and starters, possibly just soup. They did try to help in those cases but it did mean my wife had to mix and match some times. The veggie options were usually pasta with tomato sauce, aubergine or an omelette. My wife didn't go hungry but it wouldn't hurt to have 3 options of meat, fish or veggie each night. The food was a bit hit and miss but seemed to get better near the end of the 10 days. There is only entertainment at the hotel on a Sunday when there was a guitarist by the bar/pool.

A lovely hotel, with lovely friendly staff. The food was first class, and Lake Garda is worth a visit. It is a 15 mins walk to Garda itself, or use the shuttle bus.
