Fuzhou Taijiang District Hotels

For this trip, I opted for a traditional Chinese-style guesthouse located right at the entrance of Fuzhou's Shangxiahang Scenic Area. Housed in a charming old building, its overall aesthetic and comfort level were truly impressive. The proprietor was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. The guesthouse offers complimentary afternoon tea (two servings of tea, fruits, and small snacks) and a free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experience, allowing you to freely explore the Shangxiahang Scenic Area dressed in traditional attire. For those who enjoy calligraphy or traditional ink painting, this place is a dream – they provide complimentary brushes, ink, paper, and an inkstone, all set up on a wonderfully large table. It's worth noting that while most hotels and guesthouses typically have a 2 PM check-in and 12 PM check-out, this one offers an early check-in at 11 AM and a late check-out at 1 PM the next day, provided you inform them a day in advance. During check-out, I had a brief chat with the owner who was preparing tea. He was so welcoming and accommodating. When I casually mentioned I'd forgotten about breakfast, he said they could provide it anytime, as long as you ask beforehand, not strictly limited to the usual breakfast hours (which are apparently 8-10 AM). Nearby, you'll find Fuzhou's famous old eateries: 'Erlongbo Yuanxiao,' 'Tongli Rouyan,' and Dadao's 'Yiqiang Niuhua.' On the same street as 'Niuhua,' there's also 'Hao Li Bing' (Oyster Cake). You truly can't go wrong with any of these places; they're all highly recommended! For 'Laohua,' I suggest trying 'Axin.' As for fish balls, it's a matter of personal taste, but you might as well try them at Tongli Rouyan while you're there. 😂 All in all, this guesthouse boasts a fantastic location, both its physical facilities and service quality were outstanding, and there are plenty of delicious food options nearby. Absolutely superb! 👍🏻

The room was clean and spacious and very enjoyable to be in for 4 nights. The service in this hotel is commendable and they really go the extra mile. First of all, there were issues with the first two rooms I was assigned. By the second room, I passed a comment “forget it, I’m lazy to request for a new room again” and the concierge staff with me offered to go down and get me another room. I didn’t get his name but I appreciate it and I got to have a comfortable stay thanks to him. The other incident involved my Taobao return package which was divided into two parts and only one package reached the seller. I had already left China by then and was severely limited in trying to resolve the issue myself. I emailed the hotel for assistance, and am very grateful to Wilson Ye from Concierge who spent a few days following up with the platform and courier. Would strongly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again if I ever visit Fuzhou.

I picked this hotel sight unseen before our trip. On the day we were traveling, the hotel even called specifically to confirm our arrival and upgraded us to a duplex room. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was decent. Most importantly, the hotel's location was excellent. We mainly relied on buses and the subway for this trip, and the nearby bus stops and subway stations were very convenient. Plus, it felt like Fuzhou's attractions are quite concentrated and not too far apart. The hotel also provided complimentary hot spring tickets and a buffet. While the buffet selection wasn't extensive or particularly fancy (understandable given the price point), it was enough to fill us up. The hot springs next door were quite good; we went for two consecutive days, and my child absolutely loved it, constantly praising my hotel choice! The breakfast area even had direct access to the hot spring facility. If you don't feel like sightseeing, you could easily spend a whole day soaking there and even go for a swim. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. My child even said they want to stay here again next time we visit Fuzhou!

I went to Fuzhou for a trip some time ago and stayed at the Orange Hotel Fuzhou Taijiang Wanda Financial Street Branch. The experience was really great! 📍 Excellent location: The hotel is in a particularly advantageous location, not far from various attractions, close to the Wanda Plaza in the financial street, shopping and eating are very convenient, and there are two good restaurants next to the hotel if you don't want to leave. 🏨 Pleasant environment: The overall decoration is simple and fashionable, the color matching is lively and warm, the hotel is very new, and the functional facilities are complete. When checking in, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic and handed over oranges attentively, and the favorability was instantly full. 🛏️ Comfortable room: The room layout is reasonable. Although it is not as big as the orange hotel in Quanzhou, the space utilization is just right, and there is no sense of crampedness. The furniture is neatly arranged and the activity area is spacious. The bedding is moderately soft and hard, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toiletries are sweet orange flavored. 🍱 Rich breakfast: The breakfast is quite rich, and everything that should be there is available. 💪 Complete facilities: The hotel is equipped with a 24-hour gym, with new equipment and a wide variety of equipment, which is very friendly for people who love fitness. There is also a self-service laundry room, which is very convenient. In short, this stay experience is very good and highly recommended to friends who come to Fuzhou!

Crowne Plaza Hotel Riverside Fuzhou shines with its prime riverside location, offering stunning Min River views from many rooms—sunset vistas here are a standout. The staff’s warmth is notable; check-in was swift, and requests were met with genuine helpfulness. Rooms are spacious and modern, with comfortable beds and sleek bathrooms, though some decor feels slightly dated. Dining at their signature restaurant impresses, blending local Fujianese flavors with international dishes—try the braised sea cucumber. The hotel’s proximity to landmarks like Sanfang Qixiang adds convenience, while the rooftop bar is perfect for evening drinks. Minor quibbles: Wi-Fi can be spotty, and the gym is small. Overall, a solid choice for business or leisure, balancing comfort and location effectively.

Let me start by praising the hotel's ambiance. Perched by the Min River, the lobby on a high floor offers an immediate sense of spaciousness, akin to a 'sky lounge.' I particularly loved the lobby lounge; its enormous floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking river and city views. Whether it's watching boats glide by during the day or admiring the glittering city lights at night, it's an absolute delight. The thoughtful design and meticulous details are evident throughout the guest rooms. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. Soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the night view instantly melted away all travel fatigue. Hilton's renowned service standards truly shone through here. From the warm smiles of the bellmen proactively helping with luggage upon arrival, to the efficient, professional, and welcoming check-in process at the front desk, every single interaction made us feel respected and valued. I must give a very, very special shout-out to one particular staff member – Kelly. Upon check-out, I realized I had left behind a strip of medication, which was very important. Kelly very efficiently helped me locate it in the room and sent me a photo. That's when I discovered I had forgotten other items too. She kindly gathered them all for me to pick up later. Her genuine desire to ensure guests have a perfect experience was truly heartwarming! The hotel's breakfast alone was worth waking up early for! It offered a fantastic selection of authentic Fuzhou local snacks, such as Rou Yan (swallow dumplings) and fish balls. As an out-of-town visitor, I didn't have to venture far; the hotel provided a one-stop experience of the most authentic Fuzhou breakfast culture, and the taste was incredibly genuine! I highly recommend trying their Executive Lounge benefits and Chinese restaurant; both are reportedly excellent. I didn't get a chance to experience them this time, so I'll save that for my next visit!

I came across this hotel by chance. It seems to be newly opened? The location is easy to find in Shangxiahang. The decoration of the hotel is very good, clean and beautiful. It is very suitable for staying here occasionally to feel the atmosphere. Environment: Because it is newly renovated, I feel that the equipment is very new, the room is very spacious, the light is bright, and the atmosphere is good. The most important thing about the bedding is that the hygiene is also very good. The bathroom has enough light, which is suitable for makeup. The girls are a plus! The soundproofing of the room is pretty good and not very noisy. It is a good choice for traveling and business trips👍 Service: They were very patient in answering questions and even upgraded our room type for free. High praise!
