The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water comes quickly and the water temperature is stable. The breakfast is rich in variety and the freshly cooked noodles are particularly fragrant. Perfect
GGuest UserCleanliness: The room was very clean.
Environment: Better than expected, with a warm, Instagram-esque decor. The room has a rooftop terrace, which was very comfortable. It's only a 20-30 minute e-bike ride from the southern and northern tourist attractions.
Service: The owner was very attentive and personally picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.
Amenities: Plenty of hot water, effective air conditioning, and the room comes with disposable bath towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and face towels.
A great stay! Highly recommended! 😁
JJ995LMy wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro.
From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture.
The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge.
It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel.
If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.
GGuest UserBooked an 5 day stay for an Business Trip.
Location of hotel is good. There are a small shopping mall directly downstairs with some restaurants. (including starbucks and Mcdonalds) Most popular tourists and large shopping malls in the area are accessible via an short taxi trip. between 5-15 mins depending where you go.
Overall hotel is very clean.
Now for all the downside, (for reference I'm here during December with weather around 18 degrees during the day and 12-14 degrees during the night), if you like to control your own room temperature for your own comfort, do NOT book this hotel. The problem here is that they have an climate control in the room, however, it does not actually control any room temperature as I had later found out. Each day the hotel was pumping in heating through the centralised air condition. I complained that it was getting far too ”warm” for me and it was getting uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy and was giving me headaches, As there was no windows that you can open, there was no way to get ”fresh air” feeling into the room. It was also affecting my sleep during the night, this was an VERY unpleasant feeling. I tried to speak to the staff about this problem and their simple reply was basically ”nothing we can do” not even an attempt to offer an solution and that the climate control inside the room does NOT in fact control the temperature for the rooms!
Another issue was I switched on the DND (do not disturb button) as I did not needed any room cleaning during the first night of stay, I came back to find room was cleaned and items was moved around. Now admittedly it's nice to come back to an tidied room, however I did not expect anyone to come in even though I switched the DND switch on. On the third day the same thing happen however this time I was inside the room working. Even though the DND button was switched on, staff was still knocking on doors and coming in to check if I needed room cleaning. After I rejected I was receiving calls to confirm I didn't need room cleaning, now all this is probably an good service for other people but for me it was very irritating as it kept interrupting me during an important work conference call.
The final thing that I found to be quite lacking considering this is ”Hilton” was when I checked out, the staff asked if I needed an receipt/invoice for my stay, in which I requested yes, as I needed to put it to office accounts department for reimbursement purposes. They actually told me they could not print out any invoices for my stay. I needed to go and do that myself on Trip, which was fine, I thought I can do that myself, however because I have used room service etc I cannot get this on ”Trip”'s website. It just felt the whole experience was so poor coming from the ”Hilton” group. 100% the worst stay I have had.
GGuest UserThe familiar Atour style and feel are so welcoming and comfortable. Atour has always felt like home, with five-star service and amenities. This new location is even more comfortable, with brand new facilities, exceptionally clean rooms, and large floor-to-ceiling windows – a rare hotel view for someone living in Beijing. For this price, it's truly comfortable to stay near the airport at Atour. The front desk gave me a complimentary breakfast. When I asked for a thermometer, they called to ask if I needed fever-reducing medication, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was also incredibly spacious. Overall, it was comfortable and reassuring. This was the most comfortable experience I've had at Atour before leaving Fuzhou.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a small facade, but the rooms are large and the facilities are complete. The room is very clean. Finding such a hotel at this price in the city center is the best value for money. The room service is also very good, and it is cleaned very clean every day.
The hotel is in an excellent location. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Ming Food Street and 10 minutes to walk to Sanfang Qixiang. It takes 10 minutes by taxi to the famous scenic spots such as Shangxiahang and Yantai Mountain.
Next time I come to Fuzhou, I will choose to stay here!
GGuest UserHotel located inside Sanfang Qixiang. Metro Dongjiekou D exit. We have large baggage so it’s quite a challenge to go to the hotel as we need to drag our bag which is quite far from road. taxi can’t reach the hotel doorsteps. We like the old Chinese style building. The breakfast is good. Hotel staff very helpful. They assist us to book for taxi to airport so we paid them extra as gratitute
AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

GGuest UserShangri-La's core service philosophy of genuine hospitality truly shines through. They consistently advocate for treating every guest like a cherished family member, embodying their unique 'Shangri-La family' spirit. This passionate approach not only delights guests and exceeds expectations but also empowers staff to take full ownership, proactively resolving any issues to earn loyalty. Their training emphasizes deep respect, humility, politeness, helpfulness, and sincere authenticity – qualities evident in countless staff interactions.
The service at the Executive Lounge is incredibly attentive and meticulous. I witnessed a truly touching incident: a child at a neighboring table accidentally scalded themselves, and the staff's emergency response was prompt, thorough, and exceptionally professional. 👍👍👍
The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious. 👍👍👍
The front desk reception provided exceptionally warm and professional service. Check-in was swift, the escort and introduction were thorough, and they even offered thoughtful assistance with the elevator. A special shout-out to Janice, the Guest Relations Manager – she truly deserves a 👍👍👍!

SSOH YEANThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

YYanliliulaoshiI booked this hotel online and was assigned the smallest room. There were only two options available: a room with a window but no side table, or one with a side table but no window. Preferring natural light, I opted for the former, which unfortunately turned out to be a very small corner room.
However, since I was only staying for one night, I made do. The design was quite poor; the bathroom door couldn't even close properly, and the shower area was tiny. It really felt like they tried to carve out rooms from every awkward corner. I generally find such designs unappealing. Even with the discount, the room rate wasn't particularly low. All in all, I can only say it barely served its purpose.
