Changbai Mountain Eurasian Business Hotel

The strong, pervasive smell of cigarette smoke hit me every time I opened the door. It was as if years of third-hand smoke had thoroughly permeated the bed curtains and walls. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival; I had to clean it myself before I could use it. The bath towels also had mysterious stains, so I ended up using my own towel. Toiletries were minimal: a tiny, two-in-one shampoo/body wash, and no hand soap. Given the unbearable room odor and the unhygienic conditions, I absolutely will not choose to stay here again.

I don't even know how to review this hotel. At 309 RMB a night, it's not cheap, so how can it be in such a state? For this price, if I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. If it were just 100 RMB a night, I wouldn't mind as much, because then you'd be getting what you paid for. For anyone considering booking, just take a look at the pictures. The facilities are old and run-down. The door's safety chain was broken, and so was the floor-mounted door stopper. The wall still had decorations left by a previous guest. The towels were an inexplicably strange yellow color. The kettle and other items were also broken. For a 300 RMB hotel, there wasn't even complimentary bottled water. The electric water heater provided very little hot water, and the pillows were ripped, with their stuffing looking like cheap, unsanitary cotton. Absolutely terrible – a definite bad review. Consider yourselves warned. Pictures speak for themselves.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The location is also very convenient for getting around. I was extremely satisfied with every aspect, and I'll definitely be choosing this hotel again for my next visit.
