We felt very comfortable at the Pestana Grand Hotel. The clientele of guests was 60+, but that didn't bother us.
The food could have been a little more seasoned and after a week of half board it was enough.
The mattresses were really soft at first but I ended up sleeping well. The internet is very weak, but somehow everywhere on the island, not enough to work in my opinion.
All in all, it was a super relaxing week and in the evenings there was almost always life music (for the older semester:-))
