É de lamentar o facto de no check-in e no check-out o proprietário/staff abrirem a porta para ver se estava alguém!!
No caso do meu quarto tinha a porta trancada, mas ouvi na porta ao lado pedirem desculpa por terem aberto a porta.
Nunca vi tal coisa acontecer, como tal, devem repensar tal procedimento!!!

O ASPA Studios foi uma daquelas surpresas boas que tive no ano passado e que nos fazem pensar: “porque é que ainda ninguém me falou deste sítio?!”. Fica mesmo no coração do Funchal, mas com uma vibe relaxada, moderna e com alma – nada tem haver com hotéis genéricos... Os estúdios são super giros, bem pensados e com tudo o que é preciso para uns dias de descanso com estilo. A decoração tem aquele toque local que faz toda a diferença – sente-se a Madeira, mas com um twist contemporâneo. A cama era mega confortável (importante!), e o Wi-Fi não me deixou ficar mal nem uma vez – pontos extra para quem viaja com portátil na mochila. Há barulho? Um bocadinho durante o dia, sim – estamos no centro e há vida lá fora (bares, gente a viver a vida, essas coisas). Mas as janelas são duplas, o hotel dispõe de tampões de ouvidos pelo que se dorme belíssimamente bem. O que me conquistou mesmo foi o conceito do lugar: tudo pensado de forma consciente, desde o design até aos pequenos detalhes sustentáveis. Nota-se que há intenção por trás – e isso, para mim, vale ouro. A equipa foi incrível: super simpáticos, acessíveis e sempre com boas dicas (sem parecerem um guião turístico). Deram-me a sensação de estar em casa, mas com a vantagem de não ter de lavar loiça. Se procuras como eu um sítio com pinta, propósito e boa energia – o ASPA é o melhor!

This property was utterly beautiful, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and the place itself was gorgeous and so clean. Our bed was massive and we had a fabulous wet room. There was enough basics for you to cook, if required - pans, toaster, hob, kettle and caffè tier, as well as a fridge. Our cleaner was a wonderful character, who brought us fruit from her garden and the breakfast chef, accommodated us so well as vegans- baking vg cookies and providing us with the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel. The owners are currently building a restaurant, as well.
The outdoor, rooftop garden was so relaxing with ‘out of these world’ views over the city skyline.
The location was really convenient for shops, walking to the see front and eateries, as well as sites of interest.
Our all time favourite mini break and we are planning to return next year.

One of the best holidays ever. An amazing place in the heart of Funchal, very quiet and peaceful, well maintained and with attention to every detail, from the welcoming box of sweets to the everyday smiling face of the cleaning lady. Fully equipped kitchen. A unique terrace with an authentic style and a breathtaking view. The only thing that wasn't to our taste was the breakfast, despite the lady's efforts to prepare something different every day, it just wasn't our cup of tea. Strongly recommend 👌

Wonderful place central location easy to walk to the sights. Very friendly staff keen to assist with making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Great spacious apartment with kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast with beautiful fresh made local produce all prepared by a wonderful chef who is so friendly it feels like you have a personal chef. Highly recommended and Madeira is such a wonderful destination can’t wait to revisit.
