Die Quinta Jardins do Lago ist mehr als ein Hotel. Es ist ein Ort von Ruhe, Einkehr - eine Oase in mitten des pulsierenden Lebens. Ein Ort der Träume und wunderschön mit seinen tropischen Pflanzen, der Schildkröte Colombo - der einzigartigen Symbiose aus Garten und Hotel. Die Korbsesseln und Liegen im Garten, eine Kulisse für einen Miss Marple Film zusammen mit den wunderschönen Räumen im Inneren. Das Personal ist dezent freundlich, aufmerksam und liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Eine sensationelle Erfahrung. Riesiges Danke.

An altogether perfect stay: staff at Quinta Jardin do Lago cannot do enough for you, always really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. ALL of the hotel is in excellent condition, rooms, decor, garden (!) and swimming pool. The breakfast equally leaves nothing to be desired and cleanliness is top notch. Would not hesitate to stay there again! All first class and deserving of the 5 stars without being stifled.

If you want a quiet intimate hotel set in a botanical garden which is superior to the tourist destination gardens this is the place to stay. The staff are charming and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. With a beautiful heated pool in the gardens with lunch restaurant and bar the setting is perfect for relaxing after a hard day exploring Funchal. The restaurant food in the evening is superb served in a charming period setting with an excellent selection of wines . This is are second stay at the hotel and is now the only hotel we will use for our visits to Funchal. Please do not change anything

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Funchal and in our opinion is the best. All rooms and pool area are well maintained. The staff are one of the main things that makes this hotel so special as they are all so friendly and helpful to guests.The gardens are all beautifully maintained with a wide and interesting display of plants and trees. A very special resident at the hotel is Colombo the Galapagos tortoise who lives in an area of the garden and gives residents pleasure to watch.

Superb hotel accommodation with a fantastic botanical garden and a large friendly resident tortoise called Columbo! Every member of staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make sure guests had a memorable stay. We will be returning to this lovely hotel!

Just a delightful hotel with wonderful gardens, pool area and extremely pleasant staff. The courtesy minibus into and back from Funchal is an added bonus. We entertained our friends at dinner in the hotel's restaurant which was a resounding success. The hotel is highly recommended. This is our third visit and it will not be our last.

Gemeinsam mit Freunden verbrachten wir einige Nächte in der wunderbaren Quinta. Wir lieben das Ambiente, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das tolle Essen und speziell den traumhaften Garten.
Eine Oase an toller Lage für Erholung, aber auch für Ausflüge auf die Insel.
