I stayed here, for a week, last September and had a wonderful time. I had wanted to visit Madeira, for a long time, but being a solo traveller, it was difficult to find somewhere affordable to stay. At this hotel, I was allocated a large apartment, for solo use, with kitchenette, double bed, good sized bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool and sea, which was so peaceful and beautiful. All of the staff were friendly, but a special mention to the cleaning ladies, who came every day, did a fantastic job and had lovely energy, never making guests feel uncomfortable, as is, unfortunately, sometimes the case. Breakfast was varied and the lovely lady chef, made omelettes to order, always with a smile. The main town is probably a 20 minute walk away, but i enjoyed the more peaceful area, this hotel is situated in. There are some lovely eateries, on the doorstep and a great supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The pool area was exceptional and on the days I decided to spend there, it never got busy, or too noisy. A lovely environment to sit and read. Madeira is a place you feel you can be as busy, or restful, as you choose to be. Although I went in September, the weather was extremely hot, moreso, than I had expected, but a great bonus. I would highly recommend the FlorisalDorisol and would most definitely return. As a solo, female traveller, I always felt safe and confident there. Obrigado to All at the hotel, for facilitating a wonderful week and great memories ❤

We love it here and this was our fourth visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious. The pool is great and so clean and well cared for. It’s a great location too. We spent a lot of time by the pool - try a Nikita from the bar! We will be back!

This is the second time we stayed at this B&B self-catering hotel. We were given a better room this time with two sets of balcony doors looking at the ocean. Fabulous! Breakfast was always good and staff pleasant and helpful, especially Elsa. Room was cleaned thoroughly and Marcia was exceptional. We like this hotel very much and would go stay again in the future.
