Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements.
Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water.
Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied!
Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

We were going on a cruise; we needed a hotel within walking distance of the port. And it exceeded expectations, we love small hotels without scurrying crowds. It is very soulful here: a large room with a window with small glazing and a frame that slides up. A door leading to a terrace. Birds singing - after all, we are in a garden. A bathroom with two sinks and a bath (so tired of uncomfortable showers!). A wonderful breakfast, where you can cut your own jamon right off your leg, home-style. The interiors are divine!
